I mixed up my threads. That’s my standard timeout from XBL when I call someone a cunt in a message like once a year from fifa
Yeah. Not terribly concerned other than I thought I had everything backed up. I’ve beaten the game twice so other than losing my Thieves Den progress and making my 3rd play through harder I’ll be ok.
The old Tiger Woods game on Playstation (2?) was awesome. You'd get those bonuses to make the ball be sticky or fly further. And the driving range you got to hit the cart guy and win bonuses. I loved that game.
I like mine. I was torn between getting the Pulse headset or the Arctic 7's. Have no regrets at this point.
I’ve given up. At this point I think I’ll be better off waiting until they release the PS6 than being able to buy a PS5.
I got about an hour into it (PS5 version) before I started reading about a bunch of bugs - possibly gamebreaking - so I stopped playing until they get it all patched. Disappointing, but I can wait. It did give me time to go back and platinum Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 because I’m apparently a masochist who needs help.
I put in the ol GTA 5 for a bit to mess around.....when did the map go black and white??? It's really annoying
You platinumed Tony Hawk? I played it for a few weeks right when it came out, but thought the platinum was nearly impossible unless you wanted to invest 1000 hours.
I’ve never been as disappointed in a Sony 1st party game as I am in Infamous Second Son. Not much in the game, powers kind of suck, and it looks horrid unless I’m in basically a pitch black room.
It was solid for it's time but it hasn't aged well. It was definitely a downgrade from the previous two Infamous though.
Not nearly 1000 hours, although the grind to level 100 was an absolute slog. Some of the Hard “Get-Theres” were some of the more difficult things I’ve done gaming-wise. But I’m also pretty obsessive about being a completionist in games.
I am a completionist too, and Once I realized the experience needed to get to level 100, I gave up. My thumbs were also sore from playing it, so had to take a break.
If it weren’t such a great remake and just an all-around great experience, I wouldn’t have gone back to it. I’m genuinely saddened that there probably won’t be a follow-up. Fuck Blizzard and Activision.
the time/day mechanic in Persona gives me stress when i'm being told to hang out with friends/study/work out/work/etc.
If you’re worried there are tons of guides on who to hang out with first. Some of the other confidants can help speed the process along as well. I spent way too much time worrying about my social stats where some activities give you kindness, knowledge, etc. All that said I enjoyed NG+ so much more because I didn’t have to worry about stats. Had everything maxed out and could just hang out with whoever I wanted. Maxed out Ryuji and Ann ASAP that run.
I loved the first 2. This one feels rushed to be a PS4 launch title which it probably was. Also gotta say this is the first time I’ve actively disliked something Troy Baker has been a part of. I’m not surprised Sucker Punch did something else and GoT it shows how good their team is when given time.
i'll prob check out some guides. part of the stress is this is my first time playing so i don't know what to focus on.
Having fun. There’s more than enough time to get what you need to beat the game. If you’re playing regular P5 and not Royal, you can’t get the platinum in one play through anyway, so just enjoy the game and don’t fret.
Spoiler been to the island, just got a call that there are some coordinates on the ship but don’t know how to get on the ship. Can’t find the rest of the schematics to build the cyclops. I finally built a habitat. Got a call for someone floating 150 m northwest of the mid point of the ship but can’t find that (with no map, this is very difficult). Been to some of the 500m wrecks but it’s always a race back to the seamoth since it can only go down 200m)
There are YouTube videos that I think might be helpful to you. Just search for some and I think they’ll nudge you in the right direction with different tips/tricks
If you are interested in leveling up your confidants more easily: Spoiler 1. Always carry a persona corresponding to the confidant. E.g., if you’re gonna hang with Ryuji, have a Chariot persona. 2. Use the fortune teller confidant to help boost relationships. If you go to the fortune teller and do an “affinity reading,” it boosts your relationship with the confidant of your choosing. It also costs you zero time. So if you look at the map and the “Up!” isn’t there next to the person you wanna hang with, do the affinity reading (again, costs you no time) and then check again and the “Up!” might be there.
I enjoyed it but I certainly understand the many criticisms it had. It's nothing great or original for an open world game, except maybe fighting the hordes - which was a lot of fun. I liked the setting and story plus just riding around the landscape on your bike was pretty cool.
Persona 5 is easily a top 5 last gen game, but I think its greatest accomplishment was its ability to only play different versions of the same 2 songs throughout the entire game without it becoming repetitive somehow. “I’m a shap-shefter...”
Life Will Change is a best all time video game song contender. When it kicks in after you send the calling card and come back to the Palace, you just feel like a damn super hero.
Remote play is pretty cool. You lose the graphic sharpness but overall cool. Could see it for just fitting in some quick breaks while in my office upstairs (where ps4 is).
I used to to play BL3 while sitting at a fire in the backyard. It's a little rough if you need to be precise, but was pretty awesome.
Finally built the cyclops, about to build the rocket platform. I assume you can’t take the prawnsuit and seamoth with you in the cyclops? Guess I’ll bring the prawn suit but that means no quick was back to base since the cyclops is so slow. Wish the radio would buzz and give me direction of what to do I see this videos where these guys have lockers filled with unlimited amount of resources and I have no idea in hell how they do that. I’m always scraping by
Detlef Schrempf explain to me why the cyclops doesn't suck. I can't see where I'm going, I got attacked by a ghost reaper. Its slow and unwieldy. With no map, I have no clue how I'm supposed to get to where I want to go and explore in this thing.
I have a becon where my base is. That’s not a bad idea, drive around in my seamoth and drop beacons. I just found some skeleton but couldn’t go any deeper to fully explore it. Tried to drive my cyclops there and got annihilated by a ghost reaper
So last night on SVU, a white supremacist kidnapped a young lady and made hostage videos while wearing a Persona 5 Ryuji mask. And it was mentioned that “they all wear masks like that”. Is this an actual thing or just TV nonsense?
