Isn't the current NBA game based on creating your own shot? Note: I will watch the end of the playoffs
He’s not and shouldn’t. He’s a lottery pick, and is a 3 and D guy in the league with great length and won’t be asked to do as much as we asked him to do.
Jaylin and Kamani are both good players that will play a ton. Should get another PF via the portal in the next week. We’ll see a lot of Toney and/or Umude play 4 if he comes here.
He has until May 30th to declare for the nba draft, so we have some time. If we pick up a couple extra transfers then you know hes gone.
As expected https://247sports.com/Article/Stanley-Umude-Transfer-Arkansas-Basketball-Recruiting--163896312/
Yeah you can’t pass up that kind of money. Had he finished better he probably would have had more money. That said, the kid is going to make a ton
I didn’t realize he was the first ever 1 and done for the Razorbacks basketball team. Didn’t Nolan have a one and done player committed before he was fired? It’s so crazy the cycle we have gone through to get to where our sporting programs are today.
Al Jefferson was committed around the turn of the century but everyone knew he was going straight to the nba. That may have been a Heath year.
Joe Johnson, Brewer, Portis, Famutimi, Patrick Beverley, BJ Young, Gafford all left after their Soph years and a couple others after their Jr years We had Iguodala (Nolan) and Al Jefferson (Heath) signed that would’ve been one and dones. Iggy went to Arizona and Jefferson went pro out of HS
Iggy was the one I was thinking of. I am curious how this team will compare to last years team. I mean Devo and Williams being a year into the program have to be big time additions. Having KK back is a huge plus. You lose Moody but gain Toney, Lykes, and Umunde and that has to offset the losses of Henderson (gave us some great minutes at times), Smith (huge for us and probably why we did so well in the tourney), and Sills (head case but productive).
Rebounding as well is a bit of a concern but I think adding Kamani is going to be big for replacing that production
It was crazy how we went from terrible rebounding to that being one of our strengths in basically 12 months. How is Coach Cal doing at Kentucky during the off season? Anyone know? I would love nothing more than to be a thorn in their side for the next several years.
How the College basketball game has changed with the portal I like our chances with Muss. He's playing this like the NBA and trading players.
Same as usual. Good front line but not any shooting on the perimeter. Will struggle to score against teams that pack the paint, don’t foul a ton, and rebound the ball at a respectable rate.
https://www.nwahomepage.com/news/nc...it-is-evaluating-locations-for-championships/ Looks like we may not even be able to host a regional in baseball.
The reported range has been between 3-4MM a year. I wonder if the 35MM for 7 years is the max value with incentives. HY loves the incentive format and honestly so do I. Reward achievements.
Oats got 3.3. I imagine we will give Muss something similar and maybe to 3.5. And yeah it’ll probably have a bunch of extra incentives just like his last one did.
This is fantastic. If you told me those two came up with the idea sitting around drinking last night I would 100% buy it.
This kid for UAPB is throwing 82 mph fastballs and every batter is trying to hit homers for the hogs today
So the NCAA isn’t going to allow tournaments or regionals in Arkansas anymore. What other fallout can we expect with the trans ban and new Georgia voting laws? Could the NCAA deem the university an unsafe place for student athletes?

more concrete info coming out now: WholeHogSports - Sources say UA, Musselman agree to deal 5 year deal worth $20 million, plus incentives
