Has anyone tried the Utility shorts on Free Fly? They look pretty nice.
I'm guessing these don't go on sale?

I usually buy a few pair off steep and cheap every year. Sort by price, low to high, purchase. They usually run me $10-15.

I have stand up shorts that are 20 years old. They’re pretty ragged now, but they’re still wearable.

I think I got 3 or so boxes 3-4 years ago. A pair of jeans I still have and wear weekly. Few shirts still in the rotation too. I’ve been meaning to start it up again as most of their stuff is weird brands I’ve never heard of so you can get some unique stuff.

Analogue super nt - basically an actual, non emulated Super Nintendo but with hdmi output. Uses an FPGA to mimic the hardware of the original at the circuit level so no glitches or controller lag, etc like you can get with an emulator

they just got a batch in that sold out immediately, but they haven’t discontinued it, so if you are patient you can probably pick one up either later this year or maybe next year given the ongoing chip shortages (or pay crazy ebay scalper prices) - I’ve been waiting to pick one up since last summer.

as an alternative that is available, but more work to configure, there is an open source platform called mister that also runs on FPGA (meaning essentially in hardware vs software emulation). It runs more game systems than just SNES but you have to be fairly computer savvy to set it up. An overview is here if interested: https://www.retrorgb.com/mister.html

i still have my old cartridges, but also picked up an fxpak pro cartridge: https://stoneagegamer.com/fxpak-sd2snes-pro-base-all-region.html

this lets you load up roms onto the cartridge and it also has an fpga since a lot of SNES games actually had a co-processor on the cartridge. With the super nt and the fxpak pro you can basically play every game ever made and it’s like playing on the original hardware :comicbookguy:

Will be getting a diamond blade.

I do not do much concrete work but that damn winter storm and all the work it caused has me investing in tools and equipment to play keep away from the tax man. It does open up the door to a more expansive work skill set though.

I already have a complete pad set on May 3rd lined up where I have to cut 1.5’x10’ off the existing pad and free the plumbing up from concrete.

And, I am probably going to be doing my back patio myself now. This tool will help make quick work of my existing unsettled & cracked ~15’x25’ concrete patio slab.

As I get older, I realize now how great the old craftsman/sears tools were. If it broke just return it, got a new one. Now that is gone, but harbor freight is it now days. Everything a la cart, cheap, breaks return get new one.

Sonos bros: bought a house that has built in sonos rears that they used as part of their home theater system. I already have a receiver, sub, and fronts that I want to keep. Is there an adapter or something that would allow me to keep those sonos rears and integrate those with my existing system?

What do you mean by fronts and rear? I thought you could just set them up as a new room and it should all sync together.

I have an existing HT system already (non-sonus). I was curious if I could use those sonus speakers as my two rear surrounds and keep my wired left/front/center/subwoofer/Denon receiver. Not sure if they have a wireless dongle that can connect with other receivers.
