My sister got my wife and I PSU and Arizona sets of those glasses a few Christmases ago. They get fairly regularly use and have held up pretty well too. Next beer I'll pour into one of them.
The one I drank tasted like Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, which apparently isn’t made anymore. I’d have another.
First Saturday I have been at home or not working since the great winter storm of February 2021. So you know I ain’t fucking around and am getting straight to drinking & cooking.
Gotta add honey to habanero imo or it comes in as a harsh & acidic heat. Honey gives it that deep slow intense burn.
What kinda fish? I bought some small batch smoked mango habanero hot sauce that I picked up at the farmers market the other weekend that might be my all time favorite. Such a wonderful pairing.
I am trying Atlantic Cod this time. I do something different almost every time looking for the perfect companion. So far, the best 2 are Redfish and believe it or not, Tilapia.
There was a chain of bars in SC that sold it for $3/pint when I was in school so I also drank a ton of it.
Jimmy the Saint one of the reasons Tilapia works well for this particular taco is there is a whole hell of a lot going on. Trying to keep it where one particular aspect does not overpower everything else. The mildness of it works as you can taste the fish, still taste the blackening seasoning, still taste the mango, still taste the habanero, still taste the honey, still taste the lime. Would I use Tilapia for any other purpose? Absolutely not.
