We put a tile on our dogs shock collar remote and my wife's key fob, cause she always loses them. I'd like to put them on her license and CC, as well, cause she's always looking for those, too.
Guys... I’m a simple man. When I see new Apple stuff, I buy it. I want this iPad Pro to browse the internet in style so bad.
I know. But damn it looks cool. I had an 11 inch iPad Pro I used a lot, until I broke the screen. Always wished it was bigger. I actually don’t have a laptop or tablet at the moment. Just a gaming pc and my phone. Honestly wish they could have a larger iPad Air model.
Does anyone get interference when they’re listening to their AirPods while microwave is on? It happens to me and it makes me worried the microwave isn’t sealed correctly or something.
Occasionally. But sometimes my podcasts just pause and I don’t know the cause so it could be a coincidence.
iPhone 12 Pro keeps dropping my home WiFi. And randomly won’t reconnect. Then asked for password again. Wtf I reset network connections in settings. Hoping that solves it
Happens to my 11 all the time. I tried resetting the network connections on my phone, resetting the actual network at home, and then resetting the entire phone. Nothing works.
nothing works. Today it wouldn’t reconnect. Then asked for my password again claiming it was Incorrect, which I ignored. Then suddenly it’s reconnected again. Frustrating
my wifes old iphone 8 did that and I could never figure out a fix for it. I assumed she dropped it at some point and broke the wifi, but it would still connect for like an hour after I did a hard reset. she was due for an upgrade, so I never really found a resolution for it.
Guys I bought this iPhone6 in 2015 and just passed 6 years usage. Still works pretty great aside from the microphone doesn't seem to work anymore. Kinda bummed about that. I think it is time to upgrade. What should I upgrade to? I can't see getting anything other than an iPhone... anyone else here get 6+ years out of their phone? The only smartphones I've owned: iPhone3 -> iPhone6 -> ???
If you want to go another 5-6 years. You should get latest technology. Go for iPhone 12. Not the pro as it’s mainly camera stuff unless that’s a big focus for you.
What’s the consensus on AppleCare+? I just got a 12 Pro. I had an iPhone X for about 2.5 years, broke the screen twice, replaced it both times through ifixit, but ended up frying the phone the second time.
That’s not bad at all though. I’m still on my iPhone X, I think 3 or 4 years old now, and I’ve already replaced the battery. Drives me nuts when I can’t make it through the work day without needing to charge my phone. If Apple doesn’t have some ground breaking shit I may replace the battery in another few years and keep rolling with this x.
I've got a $200 gift card for Amazon and have been wanting to get a new apple watch. Currently rocking series 1. Should I get the 44mm Series 6?
This isn't just airpods fwiw. The steelseries wireless headphones I use for gaming/work do this, too.
Can someone help me understand the benefit of the iPhone's new unlocking process if wearing an Apple Watch while using FaceID with a mask? To enable this feature, I have to turn on the passcode for my watch. So I can either pull out my phone and enter the pass code, or I can turn to my watch, and enter the passcode, and then pull out my phone to get it unlocked. Doesn't it seem more of a process to enter the passcode on the watch, and then pull out the phone? Am I missing something?
The passcode on your watch is only required when first putting watch on. As long as it remains in contact with your skin the passcode isn’t required. I would definitely enable. It works well. Slightly slower than Face ID, but a really good compromise.
You should have the passcode turned on for your watch. As already stated, it's only required when you first put it on. Also, unlocking your phone while wearing the locked watch will also unlock the watch. It's trivial. Enable it.
Dug out my iPhone 7+’s in jet black to screw around with jailbreaking. Those things are still sexy af.
Did they ever mess up the already shitty podcast app. Anyone else use another podcast player/app they like?
I started using overcast about a year ago. No complaints, but I like the Apple top charts and featured shows better.
Overcast is my go to podcast and thanks for the additional info on the watch passcode. Working great now.
I love Pocket Casts. The only complaint is the search isnt as good as apples. Im a dork and sometimes after I read a book or watch a movie I search for podcast episodes on it. The search function on individual eps is better on Apples app. So I keep it on my phone to find an ep, then listen to it on PocketCasts.
PocketCasts here as well. Have also used Overcast and both are a better experience than Apple Podcasts imo.
Always used downcast. Apple is horrible. But haven’t tried the others as it would be a pain to set up everything. And this works great
I think it depends on how often you use them, what you’ll be listening to and where you’re listening.
I absolutely love the pros. You might want to wait another week though, they are apparently announcing the next gen version this week.
