I'm hooked on this game right now. Gotta get my cyclops over to the underground river now, find some nickel.
I just feel like I'm always out of water or food at just the wrong time. Found the sea treaders path and that is a game changer as far as advanced minerals go.
Motherfucker, I couldnt get out of the underground river in my prawn suit, fell into the lava zone and that was a wrap....all that work.
I introduced my then 3 y/o to games with Lego avengers. We then realized he would love n64 sports games way more so we’ve been playing Blitz, NHL 99, FIFA 98, Wayne Gretzky Hockey. He even liked NHL 98 for SNES when I let him play that. may what point do I let him (now 4) see nhl21 and blow his mind? Feel like it will shock his system
I hadn’t saved I think. Just left it in sleep mode. It’s fine that’ll take more effort than just reclearing
Ended up compromising with NHL94 Rewind on ps4. Lol. I just want the classics to capture him some more. Enjoy the feeling the of shoving cartridges into a machine. He’s never even seen me play a modern day sports game and I’m just curious what he will think.
What’s fucking hilarious is that this isn’t specific enough for me to know which one you’re talking about.
By the way, I created a Persona 5 thread since there wasn’t one already. https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/persona-5.181834/
One last subnautica question. Do I need the final cyclops depth module to reach the primary containment facility or can I get most of the way there and swim for it? I think it said the PCF is 1.4 KM down and my cyclops can do 1.3 with the 2nd module installed.
After playing the Resident Evil demo and experiencing some of the worst first person-induced motion sickness of my life...I have cancelled my preorder.
I just got through the lava castle without using it. It crushes at 900 meters still. I guess I’ll go bumble fuck my way back to the surface, recharge all my power cells, upgrade my stuff and make the final run down there. You only need the one blue tablet right?
I'd avoid that with a kid that is definitely a unique but very adult themed emotional game. Fantastic co-op game though.
This is how you learn just how poorlyyour child can follow directions. It’s so frustrating. “OMG JUST BRING ME THE RICE FFS!”
He's to young still for this game. I however have played it and its really good. It took a long time for me to get used to the camera for the fighting but loved the storyline.
Finished Subnautica which is free on PS+, put about 37 hours into it. Really challenging survival game but I enjoyed it. Definitely had my gripes with the game but probably will eventually get around to playing the new one which comes out next month.
Yes, I'm getting pretty excited for it. Going to be cool to see a AAA rougelight. I think it's going to be excellent. Saw a rumor that it runs at 4k 60 with ray tracing. Kind of seems to good to be true but that is damn impressive if true.
I'm excited about it, I asked my editor to see if we could get a review code, waiting to hear back from Sony. The score-chasing style of games that Housemarque makes aren't usually my jam, but I loved Resogun and Dead Nation, and Super Stardust was growing on me before I somehow lost my Vita charging cable.
I feel like I’ve seen the term roguelite so much lately and I have no fucking clue what it means exactly.
i think there's roguelites and roguelikes. basically means each time you play the game you start from scratch. like Hades and Dead Cells. if the game has a progression system (like Hades) then I think it's a roguelite. i think there's some other shit like randomly generated levels and a dungeon crawler, etc. but that's my understanding.
That's pretty accurate as far as I understand it. Roguelike I think gas zero progression. You start from scratch every time.
That makes sense in the context I was hearing them. Listening to this review video that was posted it sounded like he was bouncing back and forth between saying roguelite and roguelike and I was thinking I’m either going deaf, confused, are those two separate things,
I'm almost more frustrated not being able to buy a charging station than I was the console itself. Why the fuck are they so hard to find.
