1. JOK 2. Oweh 3. Unless they’re getting a 1st in return, yes 4. b *IF* JOK is gone (I think he will be) 5. They stay at 26 and take a CB or DE
haha would be absolutely incredible but I can't envision any circumstance where Micah falls that far.
1. JOK 2. TBH, nobody really. Unless its a wacky position we don't need. I don't hate Oweh as much as the rest of the thread 3. Yes, we are legitimately "1-2 players away" from not having any real weaknesses. To trade down shows a complete lack of aggressions when 2021-2022 are our years to take advantage of salaries 4. C 5. Stay at 26 and take a CB
This is as quiet as I can ever remember things being before a draft. It seems like people don’t have any idea what direction the FO is leaning.
I have a feeling Caleb Farley is going to start to fall within striking distance and Berry is going to think we can get a top 10 level talent and not worry about the injury and he'll move up to get him.
I think the thing I might be most upset about that we can possibly do is trading UP to get a THIRD injured, talented corner
1. Asante Samuel Jr. I say this because I think the top 4 CBs are going a lot earlier than everyone thinks. Not to mention Asante is my CB 3 on my personal board. 2. rousseau or Phillips. 3. Not at all, but I would want the return to be future picks and not more picks in this years draft. I’m in the camp that believes there is no way in hell we draft 9 players this year. 4. b sticking at 26 but taking Samuel. 5. I think we try to jump into the late teens to grab who we want
I think the back thing is being over blown. He's a top ten talent who missed two games in two seasons. We're drafting to acquire talent, not fill immediate needs, I think if you can get a top 10 level talent at 20, you should do it. I assume you're totally out on a guy like Jaelan Phillips then?
1. JOK, Collins, Surtain, Horn, Samuel, Farley, Newsome, Rondale Moore, Baramore 2. Oweh or Rosseau 3. No. It's a deep draft and I trust Berry 4. a. trading up for Surtain/Horn.We have too many picks anyway. Getting a stud CB opposite Ward would be huge for the defense. 5. No clue. But in Berry I trust.
Two days from the draft, and the Browns insider board at 247 has had two “updates” since April 12th. One was confirming a story that was already out about Baker not talking an extension yet, and the other echoing a previous report that the Browns were entertaining trading up.
1. JOK, Newsome, Marshall, Farley 2. Oweh 3. Not really, although w/ the draft being in Cleveland that would suck 4. C 5. No clue, I'd hope somehow that Surtain/Horn/Parsons falls to the early 20s and we can make a move up. But I think thats a pipe dream.
Someone at the 247 site said that they get a Gerard Warren vibe with Barmore. I don’t necessarily disagree.
Yeah. Kinda disappointing there aren't more pre-draft fireworks. Give me chaos, please. Truly have no idea what the Browns are going to do. Like some have said, if one of Surtain or Parsons starts to fall to the late teens/early 20's, I think you have to be aggressive and try to trade up and grab one of them. They are both plug and play starters/playmakers from day 1.

Want: JOK, Newsome, Samuel, Ojulari, Paye Would be OK with: Bateman, Moore, Collins, Moehrig, Davis, Farley (the back stuff scares me) Don’t want: Oweh, Rousseau, Phillips, Tryon, Barmore
I still don't understand the dislike of Rousseau. He didn't test at elite numbers but they were still pretty good.
i always find these lists fascinating. i never really pay attention to the names, its more interesting to see what positions they're targeting. only 10 players on the O side of the ball, and of those 10, 6 are WRs. that says something. they're either drafting one or signing multiple as UDFA
I stayed at Metropolitan at the 9 downtown when I was in Cleveland last time and didn't want to stay with my parents. You'd be able to walk to see a Browns (farther) or Indians (closer) game and they had a really cool rooftop bar. A little on the expensive end though.
Nice, I'm planning on catching them in LA. Any hotel downtown should be close enough to walk or a cheap Uber.
Just choose a hotel close to Fourth Street and you will be good. That's the best area of Cleveland, and has access to pretty much anything. Also a quick Uber ride to any game. Also, for the record, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is overrated. Come at me. haha
Tell me about the Jack. Looks like they have table games. I enjoy my blackjack. in oklahoma, all of the casinos require an ante to play blackjack. Typically, it is 50 cents per hand. Total bullshit, so I refuse to play unless it is a special occasion. They have any bullshit rules there?
No. It is normal blackjack betting. Pretty much as if you were in Vegas. It's also within walking distance from any hotel near Fourth Street.
Names to watch: Quinn Meinerz, OG, Wisconsin-Whitewater. Projected RD 2 Ben Cleveland, OG, UGA. Projected RD 4 Jaelan Phillips, DE, Miami. Projected RD 1-2 Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota. Projected RD 1 Terrance Marshall, WR, LSU. Projected RD 1 Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas. Projected RD 6-7 Alim McNeil, DT, NC State. Projected RD 2-3 Payton Turner, DE, Houston. Projected RD 2 Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky. Projected RD 1-2 Jabril Cox, LB, LSU. Projected RD 2
Given some of the recent buzz, I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Jamin Davis is the pick should JOK and their preferred CB’s go before 26. Also saw some stuff yesterday about Ojulari possibly having a degenerative leg issue. I wonder if that’s why he’s been dropping in some drafts lately?
Pretty crazy run game stat (ignore the context on the Bills, just look at the top two names on the chart)

i keep wondering if Stokes or Campbell is going to be our pick ever since these rumors about both of them going in the first round.
Hard pass on either of those guys in the first. The drop off from them to other CB’s that can be had in the second round isn’t as steep as other positions.
Ojulari's degenerative knee issue is somewhat troubling to me. I would pass on him at this point. JOK or Zaven Collins would still be dreams at 26. I still don't get the Bateman hype. He is a solid WR, but not special at anything. He doesn't bring anything to the table that we don't already have in Landry and Higgins. If we go WR, I want a WR with a different skill set (e.g. a deep threat, etc...).
I wouldn’t be upset with Zaven at all, I just prefer those other guys. Bateman might not do anything different, but there’s a high likelihood that one, if not both, of the guys you mentioned are gone after this season. He’s a guy that can contribute this season, but more importantly gives you a replacement that will have a year of experience under his belt before he’s asked to step into a starting role. Moore is still definitely my preference if they go WR though. The thing that I’ve noticed in all of Berry’s interviews is that he goes out of his way to point out that they’re approaching this draft with 2-3 years down the road in mind. I don’t think depth at any particular position will prevent them from taking anyone.
