Yeah, last job I spent a majority of it in a hotel room so I grinded when not doing paperwork. Now I’m remote and in training so it’s been a breeze.
Okay, so just got to 560k lol. The diamond ball player pack just gave me 30k worth of quick sell equipment/perks. Not shabby
Anyone catch the post on r/TheShow yesterday about the guy who got into a 54-hour standoff with some streamer? Some ridiculous stuff on the part of the streamer and part of why most of them are toxic pieces of shit. Story from the OP in the spoiler in case anyone's curious. Spoiler You might be wondering why I had stayed in this freeze-off for as long as I did. If you look at the psn, I faced Dignify2K, which is a big 2K youtuber. He had dm’ed me a few hours later asking me to quit. To which I declined as I was winning. He later went on twitter and decided to talk shit, putting pressure on me to quit. Yes, we both declined our friendlies when we both knew the servers were horrible, and that was his reason as to why he stayed on for so long. He thought I was a trash opponent, and since the fact he makes content, I guess I was obligated to quit. And also, I had exams to study for in the meantime, so leaving my playstation on was not a big deal. For him though, it was huge. He pulled out his XBox and even bought another PS5. It’s strange what you can do if you just leave your PS5 on. You also might notice the timestamp on the game saying it ended at 6:48 and you might have noticed that server maintenance was 12 minutes later. I have no clue why the game ended then. Could have been cause he quit, or his internet went out. Or could be the reason I had been wanting to happen ever since he posted it, and it could be that he signed into his other PS5 he bought and that signs him out of the one he is already signed in to. I doubt it’s that, but it’s really funny to think that he wasted probably $1000 bucks just to quit out of a game.
After I saw this yesterday I looked up the streamers Twitter. That dude was such a clown, I wasn’t shocked but I guess I was a little bit.
I swear this game just decides sometimes that one of the teams is just gonna hit moonshots whenever any contact is made
My previous refund inquiry must have allowed the game to let me beat showdown again but have it count (for now)
Chev had this happen back to back days and ended his stream early bc of it. Think he was ahead in one and tied in the other. He's like 54-1 or some shit and is highly ranked so I get it. He loses like 50 points for an L where the other guy may lose 5 bc he's playing a top 5 guy.
I fucked around between working today and finished the NL and got Soriano. Probably going to use Finley and Soto over Aaron and Salmon. Soriano at 2b over Jackie too. Really want to finish TA and get the 99 Jackie though.
Unbelievable. They need to just give everyone the rewards for inning completion at this point, on top of whatever players are actually able to earn in game.
Still cracking me up when I inquired about the refund on the game the “live” PS4 rep said I can’t get a refund after playing the game and he understand I might not like it now but he’s confident I’ll like it eventually.
I pray to god the opponents pci lies sometimes with some of these hrs I’ve given up that they barely get the top of their circle on the ball and it’s a moon shot
Just disconnected after a successful showdown mission. Get back in and “previous moment was not completed, will count as loss.”
Top 1st, first pitch, line drive to CF, lining up to make the catch and my entire game crashed. Gave me an L too. Man I was heated. :/
Current squad. Basically play matchups with the Griffey spot. Griffey vs righty, JD vs lefty, then Acuna for defense after that and can go to Yelich vs a righty. Need to get a righty 1b bat into the lineup for Ruth too.
I really wish they'd let us pick SP first and let us know if we're facing a righty or a lefty so we could set a proper lineup. Don't have to know who the pitcher is, just lefty or righty.
How do you take those snapshots and then upload without showing up as an attachment? I just bought Acuna after saving up stubs. Wish I could’ve gotten him earlier, but 160k before Friday seems like a decent deal
Take screenshot on ps4/ps5, send to someone on ps messenger, open that message on ps app, click picture and download it. Then come here, hit upload file when making a post, then hit "full image" and it'll post as a full size pic.
Willpépé after collecting all live series, should I just sell every live series I get? Any reason I should keep duplicates?
Once I collected everything I just did speculative trading. Keep the guys who you think will increase in price. Otherwise I'd recommend using a PC when the market isn't down and just selling duplicates. When you have not done that in a while you'll be surprised at how much you accumulate.
Good point. I never sell my Free Agent LS cards for that purpose. Once we get a month or two in I typically do not need to use any LS cards with players on a team to complete at least the daily or innings collections.
Ahh makes sense. I ask bc last night I pulled a Harper in a Headliners pack and I already have him collected so wasn't sure what to do with him. Bought 5, pulled Abreu and Harper in first 2. Last 3 were duds.
I've gotten pretty quick with these buys. I can do a team in 6-7 minutes. Go back to work and let it sit for 15 minutes and then go back and see what orders I have open and then adjust. Going to get AL done today. Kinda funny how cheap some teams are. Spent less than 3k total on the O's.
Pretty much common through half of gold are just going to be reasonable prices. You want to be the high bid. Now keep in mind if a card is running what looks high, just wait on it and check later or tomorrow.
After buying Ronald... looking at my remaining stubs almost feels like checking my bank account. Depressing
