AL East and Central done. Now just gotta do the AL West, aka Trout. Doing this has made me aware of a lot of players that I didn't know were still even playing. Had no idea Greg Holland was still pitching.
I had 15 regular packs through new conquest and the 1st inning, didn’t pull shit. Four ballins and pulled both diamonds.
I can’t wait to get better. I might just begin playing on All-Star and accept losing until I am forced to get better (or quit entirely).
Honestly I find that all-star can be easier than veteran at times (and both are easier than rookie). Have to pay more attention, but will force you into better habits.
Just got the 1st Inning boss. this is one case where insomnia helps out, lots of grinding the past few nights. Now I’m going to move on to TA and try to knock out some divisions in the showdowns. I haven’t spent any cash on stubs and am having a lot of fun building the team through packs and rewards.
I don’t understand how completing any random moment that doesn’t level me up in 1st inning can occasionally give me packs, and the pack is not a listed reward for the moment.
They have to come up with a better way to buy cards. This was miserable but at least it's done. Gotta decide if I want to chill and play some ranked with this or go grind for Jackie now.
File Transfer Protocol. or Free to Play, not sure which fits contextually. I typically see it abbreviated f2p.
Free to Play... IE you didn't spend money on the game other than purchasing the game IE you're cheap like me
You know that meme with Winnie the Pooh in his normal shirtcocking outfit and then the fancy tuxedo Winnie? Dbl is the latter.
A guy at work convinced me to join an MLB fantasy league. He was proposing a couple trades to me yesterday and I finally had to tell him "I need to do some research and report back....99% of my current MLB knowledge is based on guys' attributes on The Show"
It seems like the consensus at least on reddit is most of the packs are a waste of stubs. Buy the stubs and just collect the players you want or need.
Servers seem to be down...or the update? Whatever it is I can't get onto the market and I just don't know what I'll do at work today if I can't get my day-trading grind in.
When you say "Do AL Tomorrow" you mean buy stubs > buy players in live series collections? There's no way that team only cost $350 in stubs.... I unloaded most of my stubs balance just to get the braves/mets live series yesterday trying to get that 96 Glavine. Franco is a pretty fun bullpen guy to throw in too.
server update (and I think the first roster update) started at 6c this morning. no idea how long that typically lasts but I woke up and made a large coffee and had my schedule for most of the day cleared to grind today went 7-3 in ranked yesterday. first loss was a "freeze off" where I was up 6-2 in the 8th. left my console for 45 minutes to do some shit around the house and take a zoom call. Came back and that fuckin douche hadn't quit so I said fuck it 2nd loss I outhit the guy 9 hits to 2 and lost 2-0. His 2 hits were a drag bunt by Turner followed by a 2R bomb by stanton where maybe 1/2 the ball was inside his PCI, the ball was out of the zone completely, and the timing was "just early" - that's fucking retarded. 3rd loss was the last game of the night and very demoralizing Should have been a 7-1 day. Online ranked record is still glitched but I believe I'm 12-12. Not bad after starting off 2-7 on opening day
Yeah I haven't been able to complete the Carlson grand slam moment. That's my only Topps moment that is still unfinished.
There's some type of glitch where the game just stops after a play. Like a player has the ball and all runners are at a base but it never moves to the next screen for the next at bat. Only way to end it is for one person to close app. Obviously neither want to do that so you end up just letting it sit there for hours/days.
i thought you had to point at the guy with the LS when you hit it. controller normally vibrates when doing so
this pissed me off in several games yesterday. I'd get 4-5 hits in an inning and get 2-3 runs off it. Then the other guy gets a single and then HR on a non-perfect swing. heard that once you get up to higher difficulty the game plays less like softball
I assume you're talking about being in the market using the console. I'm at work grinding out the market using a browser.
