Yeah a few hours is fine, a day or two isn’t. Also I am over cautious. I think it’s better to be safe than sorry with your art and health. It what I’ve always done. Maybe a little overboard. Quickest I’ve ever worked out was after the back of my neck and that was cycling about four days after.
The art isn’t going anywhere. My dude is emailer cautious and had no issues with me exercising the next day.
I didn’t say he couldn’t exercise. I was talking about doing upper body work. Just giving some friendly suggestions. Don’t mean it to turn into something else.
I’ll give it another day or two and see how it feels before I touch a barbell definitely doing abs and cardio tomorrow though
What artist are you using? I’ve been meaning to go see Mark Somo in Ferndale for roughly 2 years to plan out a 3/4 sleeve, curious who you’ve picked in this area.
peeling more than scabbing, yes if it scabs too much it’s because you rubbed it on something or picked at it too much. leave the scabs alone because if you pick at them, you’ll bleed out some ink and it could be lighter in those areas once it’s healed
Thinking of getting some more text. I need to stop getting text or I’ll look like the dude from Memento soon.
Got these overlapping triangles on my shoulder today. Feels like it sort of evens everything out. Eventually want to build off the bolt on my thigh and do the whole leg. Probably/hopefully done for a bit.
Sorry if dumb question but does that include sleeves front (chest abs) and back? Or half sleeves and front? I’ve got an appointment either gonna finish my back or get my ribs done.
nothing “just” about that. I have my chest and that hurt I can only imagine the stomach and the ribs.
It’s mostly lined and shaded so far. Some fillers and then color. I think chest was easiest honestly. Ribs suck. Belly sucks. Pecs near pits suck. Under belly button wasn’t as bad.
