Just watched DePodesta’s press conference on Twitter. Highlights were: - They definitely see JOK as LB and not SS - Speculated that not running a 40 at his pro day and being a “little dinged up” for it may have caused teams to pass on him, but no concerns with his health going forward - If Newsome was gone at 26, JOK would’ve been in consideration at that pick - Grossi asked multiple idiotic questions
I hated Nico as an Ohio State fan because he was so good, despite Michigan's terrible offense. I would love the Browns to draft him, because I think he has the capability to be a fantastic NFL WR.
i'm partial to dyami. but id also be happy with that Mienerz kid, Green from illinois (G), or Nixon from Iowa (DT)
I’m not sure how far Ronnie Perkins is going to fall and yes I’m biased but Jesus he almost killed a few guys last year. Could be a potential steal
He's fucking fast, but he's not just straight line fast. Changes direction well. Lots of untapped potential. Biggest con is durability. He's skinny and stays with nagging injuries. Edit: Catches with his hands well
Hard to tell because of Gus and Nix. Basically has to run jet sweeps until he is taught basic route trees
If you read into what the analysts said and I will be happy to translate it for you. Gus Malzahn is a fucking moron that wasted his ridiculous speed on a Techmo Bowl offense.
Will automatically be top 5 fastest guys in the league. As others have mentioned he isn’t very large but he does a good job in traffic avoiding big hits.
During our A day game this spring he tweeted something like “wait there’s more than one route in an offense?” After the first play was a slant to the tight end.
I think he’s going to be another really good piece to your skill position players. Probably has some refining to do as a WR, but you can’t teach his speed and he has the ability to become a good WR IMO. Excited for him that he went to a place that will try to be creative and utilize him.
I absolutely love what we've done so far. Top guys for 110/113... Tylan Wallace WR OkSt Trey Smith OG Tenn Davyion Nixon DT Iowa Amon-Ra St. Brown WR USC Tommy Togiai DT OSU James Hudson OT Cinn Jay Tufele DT USC Marvin Wilson DT FSU
Good grief I love what we have on defense RDE: Myles, Takk LDE: Clowney, Gustin DT: Malik Jackson, Sheldon Richardson (hopefully), Jordan Elliott Sam: Jacob Phillips, Takitaki Mike: Anthony Walker, Mack Wilson Will: JOK, Malcolm Smith CB: Denzel, Troy Hill, Newsome, Greedy SS: Ronnie Harrison FS: JJ3, Delpit
Just gonna assume schwartz is Tyreke Hill minus beating the shit out of his pregnant girlfriend A+ draft
I still can't believe Andrew Berry somehow got JOK in the 2nd round...what a damn wizard. I'm going to trust AB with the Schwartz pick. Malzhan does not develop WR's very well at all. They go to Auburn to suck and never be heard from again and typically don't develop into anything in the NFL. But we will see. Kid has speed, that's for sure. There is STILL some really good talent in the 4th Rd and we have a bunch of picks. Richard LeCounte, S, UGA is a damn dawg and flat out baller. PLEASE DRAFT HIM. Marvin Wilson, DT, FSU would be my main DT choice. big guy who can stop the run with a ton of upside. I can't believe Jabril Cox is still on the board. Trey Smith is a nice OG with upside. Dylan Moses is a dawg out of Bama. Rashaad Weaver, DE Pitt Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU
Schwartz is perfect for what we need right now. They now how a guy who’s a threat on jet sweeps and bubble screens. He can give us those while he learns the position from OBJ/Landry/Higgins this season.
Love what we've done so far. Get a DL with our first pick today, then just go for best player available for the rest imo. There aren't a ton of holes on the roster right now.
Tylan Wallace has been a solid WR for Okie St. I’d be ok with getting him with one of the 3 4th round picks. either than or package 2 4ths and something else to get a 2nd or 3rd next year. The Texans don’t have a pick until the 5th round and they had to burn a 3rd on a qb. Lol. Too bad O’Brien isn’t there anymore or we could fleece him for our extra picks.
We knew all these guys weren’t making the roster and basically swapped this year for next and a 7th for a 5th
I do like the fact that we acquired a pick for next year though. I like trading down to acquire picks for the following year, which allows some wiggle room to move up in the first 3 rounds if we have a guy that we really want, like this year with JOK.
I’m thrilled. Great picks and patience. Didn’t reach or do anything stupid. Can’t wait for the schedule release. Going to be a fun year. Browns by a billion!
I might become a browns fan I’ve been flirting with it for a while, maybe it’s time to close the deal
