Definitely showed flashes but it was against the third team defense. Looked pretty clear to me that Coan is the guy.
I wasn’t paying enough attention to see what defensive personnel he was playing against, but he definitely has some electricity to him. And the other two QBs didn’t show enough today to be clearly ahead of him. I’ll be shocked if Pyne ends up being #2 on the depth chart, but we all know how the QB position has been managed in the past.
Given his lack of high level football experience, Buchner is absolutely a year+ away and should be the third stringer going into this season (and should perhaps redshirt). But if the coaching staff is looking to make a long term bet on a QB, it should clearly be him over Pyne. We all know how it’s going to play out though.
he still has time to progress before the season, I hope he gets some burn this year because next year the schedule is brutal. He needs some experience before 2022. 2022 is a season where the team should be peaking, the qb can’t hold it back
I stopped watching when it was 2-0 Syracuse, so this was fun to see the final. Still can’t believe we dropped that duke game...
so a few points. - why do the saints always draft the wrong ND players, first mack, now book, it blows - did keys really get 14 targets in the B&G game - Does anyone have a place where i can rewatch the game?
The uni The uni recently announced a thing called Fighting Irish tv that is supposed to have the replay but I have no idea how to access it
I bet book wouldn’t turn the ball over at a historic rate like Winston does but that’s simply because it’s tough to get the ball off when you’re on your back.
can’t argue with that. Just glad he went as high as he did. With no real pro intangibles, fourth round is pretty fuckin good.
it’s good for him and it’s good for Nd, absolutely no downside. I love it. He was not as good as we wanted but he did as good as he could’ve done at Nd with his talent. He seems like a good leader and he will probably hang around the nfl for a while.
Is the cfl draft going on at the same time? Just kidding, happy for the guy. He played his balls off and he was probably not 100% healthy all year.
Last two years cumulative NFL picks by school LSU- 21 OSU- 20 Alabama- 19 Michigan- 18 Georgia- 16 Notre Dame -15 Florida- 15 Clemson - 12 Penn St - 11
Did Stephenson get drafted? He made a showing at some big pro days this year. I think he caught balls for Mac Jones
You should see what some of the other guys are getting. Seems about average to high if you check out that guys recent posts.
That’s probably just their guaranteed money. There has to be another salary. If not, you gotta feel for an OL getting this. edit: Found this on last year from and Eagles page Every undrafted player signs the same three-year contract, which means all 13 become restricted free agents in Year 4. Their base salaries are $610K, $780K and $895K per season over the next three years. So all these deals are basically three-year contracts worth $2.285 million — what differentiates them is the guaranteed money and signing bonuses. All that matters for salary cap purposes is guaranteed money.
the old Crawford jokes will never ever not be funny to me. Not sure why but I crack up all the time the best was when he kicked that football after a play and got flagged « that young man needs to grow up » was dungy’ s call. I was crying
Austin Adams has been absolutely incredible for the Padres. Thank you #Seattle Mariners I feel like that was a trade that worked for both teams oops this was meant fir the mlb thread. Go Irish!
6 figures to a player that hasn't been drafted and hasn't made the team is pretty good. If they make the roster they will at least make league minimum prorated per week they are active which would be at least 500k
