So lemme get this straight Brown Thuney Blythe Long Remmers lol what in the world Larry and Wylie either are expensive bench riders or we try and get something for them.
Wizard. I don’t even know what else to say. Free agency is going to be almost as fun as the Super Bowls
Fuck it, let’s take this year’s draft off and trade all of our picks for established good players on one year deals and go win 20 games.
I struggle with this. I want to build a consistent roster around Pat and be contenders for years. I also say fuck it and let's be the best tesm of all time
Paying him $3.4 million this year, then tagging him and paying him $17 million next year wouldn't be that bad at all imo.
Love the move. Let’s add a WR and DE in the draft early. Wouldn’t hate drafting another tackle either.
I would like to see them add a vet FA. Don't think a rookie will do much for us this year. Should be some good cuts after the draft. Add some linebackers and a corner and better depth at TE and I will be fine.
Pretty surreal to hear the legend Mitch Holthus talking about my hometown of 1,500 or so people. This kid is going to be a good player. Comes from a great family and will work his ass off.
I think we have enough with Tyreek/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle. Obviously it is a huge drop-off after Tyreek but Drew Brees made Lance Moore a 1,000 yard receiver. I'm fairly confident Mahomes could do the same for any of those guys. I wouldn't be mad if we grabbed a WR but I think for the immediate future we would be better off adding an edge rusher and LB/OL
Mecole was a pretty big dud in 2020. Not very confident that he can be more than a guy that can break 3-4 a year. He doesn’t command guys in coverage like someone that fast should. That said, receiving isn’t a concern yet with those WRs, Kelce, CEH, and that new FB.
Yeah I don't really have high hopes for him as a true WR. He's a gadget player/return man. Thankfully he's in a creative offense that can utilize that skillset.
The Chiefs receiving group is lacking a strong chain mover. Kelce is good at it, but they could stand to have one at WR. Watkins was great at it before he fell apart.
I would think a veteran WR would be happy to come here on a reasonable one year deal to drive up their next contract value. The #3 receiving option with Watkins gone is there for the taking and if you can get open Pat is going to get you the ball a couple times a game.
Yeah I’d still feel a lot better if we added a proven veteran WR or even someone consistent in the draft. If Tyreek goes down we’re in major trouble at the WR positron.
Entering the year with Robinson as our X receiver doesn't inspire confidence, although the offense has lots of experience playing with Sammy these past couple years. I think we draft someone on Friday night to compete for that spot.
I really wanted a WR at one of those 2 picks. I get them, but I feel like 2nd round for a LB is a reach if he isn't Brian Urlacher and I thought the OL was shored up pretty well already. Oh well. The Creed pick I get more just due to the value at that spot.
Not sarcasm. I love his potential in the pros. All of our players suffered from a horrible team and coaching changes. His injury concerns are real but he's got great potential and can be great.
