what do you skill in lane? I've been switching between going heavy in march and going a nuke build where i max rockets.
Almost always Q. If the enemy mid is squishy and I think I can burst him I go rockets after that and try to snowball with kills. Otherwise E is the safe choice because you can push out the wave and hit neutrals.
Tinker is ass right now, and ass in turbo in general. Lots of BoTs and fast TPs fuck him and his ability to keep lanes pushed in. Eblade/dagon 5 is only reasonable turbo build IMO. Maybe Sheep. Invoker is hard, Alacrity your carry to always feel useful and use forge spirits off CD to push out a wave is useful in turbo. I am horrible at combos so no help there.
I like playing invoker but I only ever win if my team is good. Hero is hard to be consistent with imo
Watching Gorgc’s team in dpc is actually really fun. They’re doing way better than expected for a team that doesn’t scrim or watch demos Their games with comms usually get posted on his channel
First ranked game back, my PA says “lag” and then DCs into an abandon. game 2 my mid razor went 2-10 and went deso in yasha. I’m back, baby!
wait for what should be a solid shuffle after next TI because teams have been pretty consisten over the last couple of years
EG because the RTZ spray is hilarious and because iceiceice Quincy Crew because they are actually NA, and good. Alliance because PPD is coach Liquid because they seem like cool guys BeastCoast because your peruvian teammates will like you more
Gonna be EG or Alliance... I should learn about these Quincy kids. edit - oh gosh it’s picking between a BulBa and ppd coached teams
There’s a very, very low but non-zero chance Secret could go to lower division for next DPC and yet win TI lmao
No spoilers but that NA dpc game between EG and Quincy was about the most exciting DPC game finish I’ve ever seen and probably decides who wins the league this season. also, Arkosh beat Dogchamp in Lower division NA dpc to put Slack’s team into upper division next year. Hilarious BSJ and Jenkins and crew get to be in upper division
I missed G3. G2 was awesome but something came up. I’ll def check G3 because that draft was wild. I think I saw a Pos 5 Legion?
Yeah, the buffs to her heal/purge were significant last patch. lineup was Gyro Storm Timber Tiny LC meanwhile QC ran mid Snapfire with a safelane Dusa, which gets fucking wild late game with just insane right click damage. think there were 2-3 rapiers?
Jenkins, Newsham, shaggy, BSJ and Capitalist were the original 5 but with bsj and cap hosting EU DPC league in person I don’t know if they are still on the roster or not
I'm at least proud of the skill required to actually lose three in a row with medusa. How many people can actually achieve that feat?
anyone else enjoying the major? i am not up early enough for the AM matches but the quality of play has been fantastic imo. they're going home but iG.Emo is probably the most fun player to watch in Dota rn. Secret bombs out of another tourney. i'm not convinced they can just turn it on and win TI. they've been out of form for months now. Nigma got totally screwed on their game vs. Secret that was restarted. I'm not a Nigma fan but i'm glad they're advancing because they deserved some good karma.
Been watching when I can but mostly just catching the highlights on YouTube at night. Emo is basically Sumail back when EG won TI. Really fun to watch. secret looks like ass. nigma looked bad in a lot of games too. ILTW not the answer.
Frustrating to see what a true position 1 role looks like when a team plays around that hero. Basically, it’s frustrating to see what a team game looks like when your teammates play like a team. As if it was ever in question, we play a different game than these pro teams.
LGD cliffed arteezy 3 times in game 1 with mag and faith.bian went back every time and sprayed arteezy’s picture on top of the cliff each time. Hilarious
