I don’t think I’ve ever been more rattled by a severe thunderstorm then when I was in the delta of Mississippi. It was pitch black, you couldn’t see a damn thing, and it was raining harder than I thought possible... I’ve been in a tornado in Iowa, like literally 30-50ft away.... but that shit in the south, had no way of knowing if something was ever going to touch down
Tornado warnings for middle TN this morning already. North of us, up towards Goodlettsville right now.
My parents house got hit. Neighbors tree went down into their fence/side of the house. Saw where the courthouse got it’s roof torn off as well.
That wind got really bad quick. Luckily it didn’t last long, but they said 60-80 mph straight line winds came through.
Flooding has because a very serious issue in central AL today. Not to mention we still have two active tornado warnings at the moment
