Congrats man. My oldest turned 4 today and it’s awesome. She’s finally old enough to be into Star Wars.
Yeah. My 5 year old Step Son is so pumped. It helps that we have a 1 year old niece so we can ride those hand me downs.
I'm even more proud that she screened potential friends in elementary school by their ability to quote Monty Python.
Current daughter status: all of Meatball’s friends have a crush on Kendall. They show off on Fortnight which doesn’t impress her much
Few things better as a middle schooler than sleeping over at a buddy's house and seeing his high school sisters walk around bra-free in the morning.
My 6 yr old (turns 7 in 3 weeks) has become obsessed with Star Wars, particularly the Clone Wars and Rebels shows. I'm a pretty casual fan and my 5 yr old son is at this point as well, but my wife thinks Star Wars (and most sci-fi) is stupid. It's pretty funny almost every night she tries to ask the kids what they want to watch as a family and my daughter immediately yells "Star Wars!"
I’m glad we grown as a community. I have 3 daughters the utter stupidity that was displayed itt was fucking disgusting.
Kendall just told me and Mrs. Celemo that her first tattoo will probably be my burial coordinates on her wrist. She expects to have this tattoo done in the next five years...I’m only 47
Oh and since I bumped this thread let’s get with the daughter updates Kendall is 15.5 , she bullies Meatball She wants her drivers license now Her best friend says her Plan B is to become a stripper She thinks the #Baltimore Ravens will win the AFC
1/3 turns 11 tomorrow. The universe has played a joke on this old nerd by giving me a daughter born on Star Wars Day who cares not a lick for SciFi and instead plays in 2 different softball leagues. No interest in boys/girls yet but she starts middle school next year and my ex thinks it’ll start then. She’s funny as hell though. Apparently having like 7 parents lends to a precocious and quick wit.
I took my daughter to the store on Sunday to grab an outfit for her daughter, who turns 6mo on Star Wars Day because her whole clan are huge Star Wars nerds.
My oldest boy turns 6 tomorrow, unfortunately, mom and I are not big into Star Wars, maybe he will be, but right now it’s all about The Flash
My son turns 4 tomorrow. I’ve seen most of the movies but have no clue as to what is going on. His mom hasn’t seen anything and most likely never will. I was disappointed that he wasn’t a 5-5 baby considering I’m 9-9 and my mom is 11-11
My daughter is almost 10. She's wanted to be a teacher all her (thus far short) life, and when she was around 7 we were driving around some $1+ million houses and she said, "I'm going to live in one of those when I'm a grown up." "Not if you're a teacher," I said. She looked it me like I had just said the most obvious thing in the world and said, "Well, then I'll just marry someone rich."
Daughter turns 8 next month. The kid is all about animals (she even gets upset if I kill a roach in the house) and is pretty set on working with them when she's older. She's doing great in soccer considering she's the youngest in her coed league. Just this past weekend, the coach pointed to her as the example of how everyone else should be playing (is aggressive on defense, stays in her zone, passes to the open field, directs other teammates) . She even shit talked a couple of the boys after she bested them in a drill, which was awesome. And while she definitely loves her younger brother, she has a habit of being mean to him for no reason. I have to refrain from saying "stop being such an asshole" on a daily basis. She basically already acts like a teenager which just makes me dread how she'll act when she's actually a teenager.
I dropped a “you need to quit fucking around” on 1/3 a few months ago cuz she kept taking her mask off in crowds. An occasional profanity can really focus their attention if you don’t ever use them.
my daughter's (8) life goal is to just live on a farm far away from people and just have a bunch of cows and horses.
My 3 year old has a crush on a little boy her age in our neighborhood. Yesterday he saw her playing in our driveway so he stopped at the bottom but then took off after she ran toward him to say hi. She turns around all dejected, but there I was to pick her up and give her a hug. Because if there's only 1 man in a girl's life that should never let them down, it's dad
My daughter (only child so far) is just shy of 9 months old. Started crawling and standing up a few weeks ago now. Can't wait to read through this thread now, outside of ned's head first post in it
