Refs completely mismanaged that game. Should have been about a dozen third man in ejections in the early going which would’ve prevented all of the later shit.

Pretty sure that's what the logic was. I mean, fights are entertaining and both players are consentent, that's why fans love them for the most part, Dirty hits on the other hand bring absolutely nothing to the table.
I don’t think Parros was dirty per se but he never played big minutes and was a fighter. I don’t think he understands protecting star players. Shanahan at least could see both sides as a chippy guy that had skills.
Shanny was a good DoPS but he got sick of everyone bitching at him for doing his job well. It’s literally gotten worse with each DoPS. I expect an announcement to come by Friday announcing Parros is being replaced by Don Cherry.
