Just trade him fo a haul. Unless it’s a cap thing. Same thing with Watson when he was tradeable. Take the haul and say fuck it.
Agree. They have a good roster, could get some great picks and player possible. Deal him. To the Saints!
It's a cap thing but it's also a franchise timeline thing. The FO planned to contend with Rodgers for 2021 (and maybe like a few years after) and all their roster moves were made with an eye towards that plan. Taking a cap hit in 2021 and having a bunch of pricey veterans on the roster while your project replacement QB is learning the ropes and you won't be competing is...definitely less than ideal. FTR I'm on Rodgers' side in this and it gives me great pleasure to see him stringing the FO along and totally messing up their best laid plans. But, I can see why they're hesitating to trade him (although I think that will happen in the end)
My twitter is full of Favre opining on Rodgers situation. STFU old man you are irrelevant now and you don't know shit anyway
Did they draft him in the first fucking round to NOT be the heir apparent? Even if he blows you have to put him on the field.
I could totally see a total asshole like Aaron Rodgers get along great with a total asshole like Jon Gruden
This is clearly all brought on by the fact that Love looked so good in practice last year that Rodgers is threatened by his presence.
Munn is incredibly annoying in every role she's ever played and is not that hot when it comes to Hollywood actresses Newsroom probably ruined her for me but I haven't seen anything compelling since to change my mind. Everything was better when the rumor was that Rodgers was gay
The longer it goes with Rodgers hiding, the more I think this blows over and he comes out later blaming this on the media. He already has a history of throwing them under the bus which makes it so odd that they are carrying so much water for him. Rob Demovski has more than enough reason to put together a Rodgers hit piece if not for the fact that he's probably the nicest guy in all of sports media. At least Favre had the stones to say what he wanted to say, not feed "sources close to" to every member of the NFL media.
