Yeah I don’t blame him for wanting to step up to HW for Stipe or Ngannou. But it’s not like he clearly beat Reyes. It’s one of the most controversial title fight decisions ever. I think Francis is a better matchup for Jon than Jiri. He’ll win a decision against Francis because of cardio, but Jiri’s cardio is elite.
Is this Harrison girl amazing? She's like a -2000 favorite. Makes me wonder if she could hang in the ufc.
Apparently she fights 155 where there is zero competition..she's teammates with AN but obviously that could be a huge fight at 145.
You fellas who streamed the Askren vs Jake Paul fight better pay up The social media company on Monday issued a press release announcing a website has been opened where individuals who illegally streamed the pay-per-view can pay the $49.99 price tag for the event. In exchange, those individuals’ names will be removed from lawsuit, which seeks a $150,000 penalty from every person who pirated the card. “VPN firewalls all have to comply and turn over the actual IP addresses of each person who stole the fight in discovery,” Matt St. Claire, Head of Piracy for Triller, said in a statement. “We will be able to identify each and every person, VPN or not, as each stream has a unique fingerprint embedded in the content. “Triller will pursue the full $150,000 penalty per person per instance for anyone who doesn’t do the right thing and pay before the deadline.” “We are taking this position because it is outright theft,” St. Claire said. “It is no different than walking into a store and stealing a video game off the shelf. In the case of the offending sites, it’s worse, because they also then resold it to many people, illegally profiting from work they do not own. “We encourage anyone who pirated the event to visit the site before June 1, pay their $49.99 and receive a full and complete release from Triller to avoid further action,” The website started by Triller will stay open until June 1 to allow anyone seeking to pay the $49.99 in order to remove themselves from the pending litigation. The initial lawsuit filed was seeking $100 million in damages.
why only charge them 49.99 if you can get $150k off them? lol i feel sorry for the people who fall for this
I mean, technically they could but it would prob cost more to find someone actually worth going after than it's worth. And the big guys who stream have their shit buttoned up tight. My netsec guy oddly enough is a UFC fan.
So uhh the other guy tapped? I didn't pay attention after I saw Werdum get smoked. He took a fucking beating after he'd won.
From one angle it looked like he did, but kind of half-heartedly. But when he did "tap", Werdum immediately tried to tighten the triangle even more by pulling his head down. So if he thought it was a legit tap, he should've released it immediately. But he didn't. Then he just took shot after shot to the dome.
After looking into this Harrison lady.. Her and Nunes is probably one of the biggest fights out there right now. Not sure what it would do ppv wise but it would be huge in terms of putting the best fighters in the cage together.
Piggy backing.. Not a on of compelling fights the ufc can make right now imo. I'll watch it no matter what but there really isn't anyone left for Usman or Izzy. Don't think they want to fight each other. Best 155 guy just wants to beat on Conor for a pay day. Jones and Francis may not fight now? I think aljo is a fraud and he's hurt for a while. Looking forward to seeing that rematch though.
