when you guys cook chicken halves, are you buying them like that, getting the butcher to half them, or buying whole and splitting yourself?
I split them myself, I cut out the backbone and toss it in a freezer bag to use to make stock once I get enough.
Finally ripped open the bag of Fogo Super Premium. Some absolute units in that bag. FYI, got two 35 pound bags and you also can earn points towards $ spent. I can't tell you if that is a rip off or not at this point. I will be sticking with it for the foreseeable future.
Yeah free shipping through their site. Points are on their site as well. I think it was 90 for two 35 pound bags so a bit pricey but I think it's worth it. Took about a week to get here.

All I will say is that it amazes me that all these people spend so much time trying to cook other people’s recipes. This thread is absolutely cranking out people that could be a pit master at a chain bbq joint. Try something. Fail. Maybe come up with something spectacular in the process.
