I feel like PSA is messing with me. Updated they were completed through Feb 24th last Friday with express. With a Feb 25 submission date been checking everyday to see if they've done mine yet. Week later still nothing
Personally I think it's easier to damage a card putting it into a top loader. The wider opening of a card saver saves the corners imo. All the cards I pull I think I might send off to grade go straight into a card saver.
Card grading companies cut open card savers. Probably best way for them to remove a card without being accused of damaging it themselves
I was putting tabs on my sleeves to help grader pull them out of card saver and was told by someone who grades a lot that was pointless because they cut the sides of the card saver to get card out. I never looked it up to verify so that guy may be feeding me BS
Check your targets on Thursday nights. Just stopped by for a grocery need, and the regular section was stocked with the low end(Heritage, UD Hockey), and the value/fat packs of the good stuff(Prizm and Select). Blasters and Megas are tomorrow I imagine.
Went to the Target by my house on my way into work to try and get something. Pull in, line is 20+ deep. No thanks. There's a second Target a few blocks from my office, so I figured I'd try. Found a NFL Chronicles blaster
My target starts selling cards 1 pack a person Friday’s at 8am. Went this morning and got a select football pack. Just stopped by again and got a Donruss basketball pack. Pretty garbage in the football pack but did pull a Lamelo base in the Donruss pack
Didn't get a thing at Target. They had Heritage blasters and hangera, UD Hockey blasters and megas, and Donruss Basketball fat packs. Almost bought a Donruss fatty but I'm not a huge basketball fan and just getting one wouldn't have been worth it for me.
I got to Target at 10 til opening and didn't get anything. 8 people in front of me got the Select boxes. Then decided to go by Walmart and there was nothing except 2 guys with empty shopping carts. I asked if they were bringing any out and they said they didn't know and had been waiting since they opened at 7. They were talking about how all they do is put everything on Ebay and flip the shit. I left before I could say anything that I shouldn't have.
Pulled my first 1/1. Feel kind of disappointed it wasn’t an auto or a rookie but I guess a 1/1 is a 1/1
I've pulled two and neither I think have much value. One was a printing plate of Rays team card from last year. Other was Tsutsugo from Fire last year. Rookie, but he has struggled and was a 28 year old rookie
Why do so many people list their collections on ebay while clearly having no intent to sell? Is it a cry for attention?
Ebay needs to stop with the free listings, make these idiots pay if they want to put something up. I see stuff listed for over 50x the amount the card has ever sold for in the cards history, retired players whose value isn't going to skyrocket due to draft hype or FOMO.
Ok, which one of you limp dicks pulled the gun? https://www.fox6now.com/news/fight-over-trading-cards-outside-brookfield-target
Went two nearby targets while getting lunch and there was a bunch of heritage and opening day. Got a couple opening days just because. Just meh.
There’s just so many people wanting/hunting cards that you have to be there around open. I got to the closest Target to my house and there were 20+ people outside before open. Went to another instead of waiting and was able to grab something before they sold out. I asked and they said they had probably 15 people sitting outside
My Walmart has had enough with the creepy old men camping out in the card aisle. They put them behind customer service with a max of two. Also no loitering. Hallelujah!
When I was in line at Target yesterday it seemed like everyone knew each other like it was a weekly thing. Some dude was calling people standing in line at other Targets getting updates and shit.
I do a lot of 10 day auctions, starting on a Thursday, as it allows for the auction to cross one Sunday and end on another.
Walked into target yesterday late morning and there was a group of like 6 guys circled up holding stuff, seemingly talking about what people have got. Seemed weird
I'm trying to move a few pairs of sneakers that I never wear anymore, hoping to find a way to get 2 boxes of Topps Chrome F1. One to open, one to stash.
Not sure what that is, but as new stuff gets released I look at the inserts and decide if I need to collect any of the auto sets. One thing I've noticed 2021 having too much of is sticker autos. I'll never get excited about a sticker auto.
Guarantee this guy has retail product marked up for resale if not one of the guys in line ' Jeff Lemieux at Jeff's Sports said the craze all started with the pandemic. '
