I'm not sure what is worse, the fact that this exists or the cost of $100+. Defend your idol Butthead
my idol is not fenriz. but the guy works at the post office. cut him some slack for trying to make a buck... if this is legit
$109 for some stupid piece of swag for a band that has made basically nothing for 30 years ghost charged liked $250 for that sick blacklight-reactive shirt and the dildos and other stupid shit in the box
Anyone checked out the Suffering Hour release from a couple months ago? Reminds me a lot of Ulcerate, quite good.
It's queued up in my folder but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe tonight, I've knocked the new album checkout list down under 200.
I’d guess newer but to be honest I haven’t listened to Ulcerate’s full catalogue in a while. But I think there are some similarities
Went back through their discography, decent but very generic. Nice to see them figuring shit out and crafting better songs on album #5.
Cleaning some drawers out while listening to new releases. Came across 7 brand new sealed blank cassette tapes. I don't know why but I'm pretty excited about it.
For whatever reason I decided to listen to the entire new Moonspell album. Guess I kept thinking crappy song after crappy song there was gonna be a surprise banger in there somewhere. I like old Moonspell, not sure why they felt the need to start sucking.
What's this "Dark Nights: Death Metal" thing? Or is that what Mastodon sounds like now and I'm reading too much into the youtube?
i hope not. and it's a song for some kind of DC Comics show, apparently i liked this crossover thing a lot more, though. warning: prog rock + game of thrones
i was trying to figure out what the big solo part at the end remind me of last night. it's this and i'm not mad about it
that Svn.Seeker made me kind of miss when bands were doing melo-death like this. this album was mastered like total shit and kind of hurts my ears now that i'm old, though.
not a metal band, but i also love Carpenter Brut. he's some French synthwave guy. but i was listening to one of his albums the other day and i was like, "i know that voice" it was none other than Krystoffer Rygg from Arcturus and several hundred other bands. i love his voice
Too many idiots out there think Iron Maiden would have been better had they kept Paul on vocals instead of moving on to Bruce. I don't see it.
the first 3 Ulver albums are essential metal canon Bergtatt might be the best second wave black metal album. it’s that good.
To show I'm not a bad sport I will go through the first three albums by each band since it's likely I haven't heard them since the 90's.
Berg is good, which I'm already aware of. Kveld is worse than I remember. Quite familiar with Nattens already. I've moved on to the Esoctrilihum debut.
I know we're all huge German speed metal fans, right? Well, brace yourself because new Vulture leaked today. You by the book types can wait until release day Friday but I'm getting in now. I've ran out of new shit to listen to so this better rule and be worth a few spins.
the start of summer and warmer weather really puts me in the mood for stoner rock/metal. the first two Kyuss albums are so good. also this Green Lung album is the best thing in the genre to come out in 5 years
new Panopticon is out. the track ‘Moth Eaten Soul’ is just crushing. almost sounds like death metal at times, has that Ulcerate-style “tidal wave of pressure” feeling.
