Maybe it’s the Ole Miss fan in me, but this encapsulates how I feel gambling will play out. Fumbled procedure will run out the clock.
Anyone got a lead on pine straw delivery? Just need to buy some and have it delivered will spread myself double RL
Yeah. They were recommended to me so I don’t know if I got it for a good price or not but they showed up on time
15 I think. Am planning on just applying it over the top of last years (if this is wrong and bad let me know)
Can't decide if i want to throw down mulch or pine straw. both have been used in the past with pine straw being used last year right before they listed the house. i have always preferred the look of mulch but damnit i'm sick of spreading it. anyone have any recs for someone that can bring a pickup truck full of mulch and spread on all my beds?
I just removed 5 years worth of pine straw and put down asiatic Jasmine sprigs as a permanent solution. Repeatedly putting pine straw on top of pine straw is like Adam Sandler covering the mess with more and more newspaper in Big Daddy.
So I saw a piece of the press conference where the mom and dad were announcing the baby was missing and immediately thought “this dad will be arrested within 24 hours” and sure enough. Pretty sad.
I’m with you. When her mom told me I was a little surprised considering what she had been telling people. But she swore she had made a decision as a family to not do it. Then like 3 days later she was back in.
Depending on how involved Trump wants to be, it could be a bloodbath. He’s going to eat up the chamber of commerce repub.
Agree. If trump isn’t backing you I think it’s pointless to pander to his base. See Jeff sessions. Maybe she’s goes the traditional republican route and also tries to appeal to the moderate republican crowd. Idk it’s going to be very interesting to watch.
Yes I know. A guy I went to high school with is a state house rep. He claims Britt is wavering because she doesn't want to give up her high earning job. Which I found ridiculous.
I don't really buy that, either, but it is well paying. Bill Canary, who she replaced, was making just south of $600k.
Dayum, in 2018 the dude was making $624,709, including a country club membership (see schedule J page 2, about 4/5ths of the way down). 2019 tax return isn't yet available. https://apps.irs.gov/pub/epostcard/cor/630922835_201812_990O_2020060917183007.pdf
This is somewhat true. She had some concerns in the beginning about taking a pay cut. She is making a good chunk at the moment.
Richard Shelby made millions in the senate. She knows that. I doubt she's seriously concerned about the pay cut.
True. I think things were a little different back when he started. I think it had her a little spooked giving up a cushy salary for the unknown. And who knows in 15 years what policy’s will be in place for senators. But I’m with you. I’m not too concerned about her being able to buy a sandwich.
Living in Birmingham, it's easy to forget how fucking terrible this state is : https://www.al.com/news/2021/05/liv...baFa4ReFe4NShD2_wQwytUN5z9mBCf_liz9hIc4hbgtWo
Does Trim Tab have a bunch of canned beer available directly at the brewery or will I have better luck at Hop City? I'm coming back to town this weekend and want to load up again. I drank all of the trim tab beer from last time. So delicious.
Yes, they have pretty much everything in cans at the brewery. They'll have more of the Gallery Series stuff than Hop City or anywhere else will Yeah, they're really good.
oh boy. I'm going to have to sneak off from family at some point and go to both Hop City and Trim Tab and load up.
It really is. When it comes to covid, I often find myself fairly distant from relatively like minded friends living in Mobile
