It's easy to forget you have it on no doubt. But I think it's worth the trade-off depending on the roll
Last two days I haven't been able to do the daily challenge on Returnal. The door just won't open for me. So that is aggravating.
I’ve got Phrike’s pattern down but I keep getting my dumbass into lockdown rooms en route so I’ve only fought him twice. Had him down to about quarter health on his final phase this time. Hoping to pull the carbine for the next run because he’s absolutely fucked if I get any sort of decent weapon.
Just beat him using the machine gun weapon. I found getting as much distance between him and me made it way easier.
Had a pretty good run on the second biome going but then ran out of health options. Door I went in took dash away and couldn’t get away from lasers. RIP to me. Have been there three times, have yet to see the boss.
Right. I mean those games are best (I think) when you can play straight for a while, learn patterns, and strategize for the next run. If you can’t put time into it, you’ll never progress. And after a couple weeks even remember what buttons do.
Anyone got any good recs for a new PS4 game to play with some friends from college? We're all in different places and it's how we stay in touch. Have played Siege, Fortnite, Rocket League, Warzone, and several FIFAs and looking for something new. Ideally something cooperative. Game doesn't have to be a relatively new release but that would be great.
Just rolled the credits of Act 2. The rooms are way harder than the bosses to me when you get stuck in some room filled with enemies on lockdown. Biome 4 boss fight was awesome though.
The one constant in my life is that Phrike exists to protect me from the horrors of the 2nd biome. He is my white knight and I hesitate to kill him.
I’m very much in this boat with my group. Still on siege but we need something new and soon, the edges are fraying and none of us want to do the homework to actually get better and get out of Bronze/Copper hell.
We played Siege for about 2 years when it first came out and then moved on to Fortnite and elsewhere after that. But we've recently moved back to it and one squad member gets frustrated really easily and doesn't want to play it anymore. Thus the search for something new. What can your friend crew and mine find to play next?!?
Going back to sleep in Biome 1 to heal so I could focus on upgrading suit integrity was a game changer. Also shield consumables stack which is really nice. Went into biome 3 boss battle with 4 shield consumables stacked and a resin shield and took maybe 30% damage.
Yeah just watched a couple videos on tips and using the bed to sleep then getting all the health resin is a big brain move
Apparently I hit the PSN wallet max (used trade in $ from old consoles) so I’m looking for the thread to help pick my next purchase. Possible options: Returnal R&C preorder Disco Elysium Shin Megami Tensei III remaster preorder AI: The Somnium files (currently on sale) Willing to listen to other opinions. Prefer this goes toward something I can’t get on Xbox.
Returnal is very fun but I recommend waiting a bit. They need to do some bug fixing and put in some form of save system.
Went on a heater run. Cleared Biome 2 —one shot the boss, thanks astronaut figurine — and got to the boss of Biome 3. Hollowseeker with serrated blades does work. The phased bullets trait let’s you shoot through walls too. Unfortunately it felt like I didn’t have enough damage for boss3 and took me awhile to figure out what to attack. Altfire sucked too. Really cool game.
Yep, loved it. Still need to go back and beat it on the higher tiers. I think I've beaten it on the 2nd one Also, made it back to that boss and almost had it. Still hectic, but not as tough as I initially thought. The third phase caught me off guard, though.
You can do it! Just obtain as much health as you can, and try to get an astronaut/parasite that revives you. Also try to go into the fight with some integrity vials. Watch the fight on youtube to get a better understanding on when exactly to dodge. People have success with protection mods, but I'm not really sure how the protection works. Saw one person on reddit saying it helped prevent them from taking damage when getting hit. I'm not sure where on the HUD it shows protection level.
Beat biome 3. This shit is wild I have no idea what’s going on. Also it’s funny to see the astronaut randomly show up in obscure spots as you progress through the levels.
I bought 4 years of PS+ a few months ago when cdkeys had them at $25. Was looking at PS Now lineup and it looks pretty good, especially since I have a toddler who loves cars. Think he'd love watching and eventually playing racing games and others like Ape Escape. Might wait until I finish Persona 5 and a few other games before purchasing or buy if it ever goes on sale. Cheapest I've seen it is $55.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around why demand is so high. There's still like just 3 games made for it and one of them is Astro's Playground.
Honestly if anyone has the disposable income and luck it’s worth the upgrade even if you’re still playing PS4 games.
Yeah I'm not saying it's bad it's just THIS level of demand that's crazy. At this point it's demand driving demand more than the system.
