Do not miss that goofy looking fucker at all. Congrats to all the Orlando area Waffle Houses on the boost in sales they have gotten from Kristi and him.
With the players being able to make money off their likeness about to happen, this is actually pretty genius. Sell it to recruits that if you come to UCF, we’ll promote your online handles up and you can grow your brand. Of course they couldn’t put that on real game jerseys but we can put it up on the big screen and on programs and games notes and stuff.
Bama gonna put their Venmo and CashApp handles on their jerseys and dudes from Wetumpka will go broke sending Bryce Young money
We were supposed to get the RoofClaim deal done last year which I think would have given us $35 million over 15 years, but the Republicans in the FL legislature shot it down and wouldn't approve it. With no name sponsor for the past year, that's why we were using Bounce House as the official name.
thhhhat ring a bell. gotta understand they are so busy banning trans kids playing sports right now too. good group of people those FL senators
As long as you don't require remembering a playbook, going to class or attending position meetings....uhhh maybe?
Hard to say because ND receivers don’t flourish until later for the most part, but had academics year one and just couldn’t find his place in year two. I was upset he left but the sunshine pumper writers didn’t seem to think he was ever going to make a dent.
He looked completely lost in the spring game. Not underutilized. He didn't know where he was supposed to be or what he was supposed to do. I learned about him getting kicked out of the WR meeting before the Clemson game after seeing the B&G game and everything started to make sense. I hope he figures it out for his sake, but it was never going to happen at ND.
He was arguably a 5-star coming out of HS, but the consensus seems to be that he was misevaluated and is more accurately a middle tier 4-star. One of his biggest issues is that it seems like he still perceives himself to be a 5-star. With that said, a guy with mid-tier 4-star talent can obviously be an awesome college player, so I think he still has a chance to be a solid to good player.
Dude will do well at UCF. Like others said he was a bad fit at ND, honestly surprised he didn't end up at a P5 school.
roster is studded with talent, we just use is poorly early then kids blow up, see Claypool/Boykin, etc.
We bitch about usage, looking at the DC most schools would be envious, the bitch is kids either stay hurt or don't block so we don't get to see them until late career. Kids like Lenzy, Austin, Styles, Watts, etc. were wanted by everyone.
I’m beginning to think every fan base says the same thing about their coaches. That’s the same thing we said about Heupel. And GOL. And Frost on 3rd/4th and short.
Yeah everyone hates their coach but Clemson and Bama fans. And maybe everyone is a little right. I mean Stephen Godfrey did a whole podcast on how interesting it will be for Gabriel to have to learn to read a defense under Malzahn because under Heup you just throw it deep to one side of the field or the other and the other side just stands there catching their breath. Its all relative in college.
We really have only 3-4 games per season that are risky. And the defense we're going against isn't even really the problem in any of those games either.
Dads family is from South Dakota, share holders of packers. Dad moved to Illinois when he was a kid. I went to auburn. I grew up watching the cardinals, and I was even hit by a foul ball off Pedro Guerrero’s bat at the old Fulton county stadium.
Yeah the defense to be worried about is ours, if the offense doesn’t stay on the field they get gassed out like last year
Make no mistake, there is no reading the defense under Malzahn. It’s purely running the same 6 plays over and over as fast as you can.
And by fast you mean call a timeout twice in the first 5 minutes bc no one knows what the fuck is going on
We are very used to this already. If that’s the case and he fixes the defense we should be going undefeated.
UM: We dropped him, he was an academic risk, he didn’t have a commitable offer, we’re going to get a better player and he was afraid of the competition, etc.
