Also for anyone that is interested, I’m fairly certain lollapalooza will get announced tomorrow. It will be the weekend of July 29th.
It’s sold out, but I’m guessing I’ll try to find a day or two to scoop up when we get closer. It’ll be interesting how the secondary market works this year because I wonder if tickets will need to be more strictly tied to ID and vaccine status. I always prioritize going to pitchfork anyways, so I made sure to buy tickets for that yesterday before it sells out.
That’s a good call, I would guess a lot of people are transferring their tickets to 2022 also. Probably a decent amount of people just had tickets to see MCR. I’ll keep an eye out for additional ticket releases.
Lolla is returning at full capacity, but requiring vaccine or a negative test? Do you know how long it's going to take to gain entrance? It was already a pain in the ass, now if they actually look at your cards it'll take even longer.
Yeah that’s a very easy pass for me. You’re probably looking at 450 ish after fees for a 4 day pass. No way is that worth it.
whew, was worried I was going to be upset that our annual Lolla trip came to a close. A lot of the same artists as Bonnaroo, but none of the differences gives me buyers remorse.
Need an oral history of what went wrong here. Weren't they supposed to get Kendrick and Billie's first shows? Journey and Limp Bizkit as the biggest non-HL rock acts? Maintaining four days when you can't throw a halfway decent three day fest together?
