Only thing I remember that was worse was when they had a heavyweight only card in Denver. It was awful lol Lewis vs Ngannou was worse also
My thought process in taking green was if he can survive a first round onslaught he shoudl be able to get a take down and submit him. Lol yikes
Dominic carrying the UFC water "So hard to judge a fight like this"as Waterson gets obliterated most of the fight
For stretch it felt like he was on every card. I looked and in 2014/2015 he fought 10 times in those two years. That might be the most impressive mma stat of all time. I could be way off here, but Anyone else fought 10 times in 2 years? Holland might’ve been on that track after his 2020. And Magny has already fought twice this year.
That's wild. Which immediately makes me think about how Aldo is 34 and Holloway is 29. I feel like Max was fighting during my childhood he's been in the game so long.
i agree with that but are those top fighters going to risk that? their excuse will be he doesn’t deserve to fight me
He’s now a top 10 fighter. If no one agrees to fight him then fuck them. how is it fair to Islam he can’t get a big fight or move towards a title shot because everyone is a scared bitch?
i am in complete agreement with you. he deserves those big fights, fighters are becoming so picky though now it is weird
Isn't most of his division tied up in a fight right now? Seems like the best option may be to see how some of these upcoming fights play out.
UFC need to bring back tournaments, even if they aren’t one night things like the old grand prix’s. Make some non-title fights feel important
I think a talented fighter spending some time on the ascension is invaluable. It’s a fine line between biting off more than you can chew and winning “easy” fights. I think Islam/Moises will be fun. The longer the win streak for Islam before he gets a shot vs a top guy, the bigger that fight becomes. Conversely there isn’t really much benefit for a vet taking a bad matchup as a co main at best to be the spring board for the next Khabib. Just playing some devils advocate.
And watching the Oliveira fight again. Just completely outclassed on the ground. He had some excuse about not training BJJ but
