He definitely had been working on time travel way before the quantum realm gave him the conduit to it right?
Possibly, but Endgame really made it feel like he hadn't thought about it until Steve approached him. Then he solved it. In a matter of hours.
Nah he laid out why it’s not possible when he dropped a bunch of nonsense science terms, and explained that Scott only survived because of luck
I appreciate this thread when someone live posts during a film. I mean, DirtBall does it every other day, but it's more special when it is someone else.
The one thing I don’t like about endgame, and I know it’s fat Thor, but there really isn’t much redemption and Capt. America seems to be more powerful. Thor beating the shit outta Thanos would have been great for at least 10 seconds before Thanos went all cray. still my favorite scene of all time is when cap. picks up the hammer.
Seems like even fat Thor should have some old man strength, body leverage type of stuff that levels him up vs lean Thor there’s no way a beer gut on a clan of Viking gods should be a weakness
His career is the best it's ever been. He just got to choose between suicide squad and the lead in that new zombie movie. Took the zombie movie and got paid. Looks awesome btw.
This is the first google result for news on Dave Bautista so I'm not really sure what Grifter is implying here
Think he’s probably referring to his comments about the James Gunn firing. But at this point Bautista is probably done with Marvel anyway so burned bridges don’t matter. https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/d...-the-galaxy-vol-3-firing-was-personal-attack/
If we recall how that went down, wasn’t it alt right nutjobs mad that their/conservatives like Roseanne’s previous tweets were being held against them and they went hunting for liberals’ ancient tweets? So yeah, I mean, where is Bautista wrong about that?
Hello fellow nerds, I realized I had only watched like 3 or 4 Marvel movies over the course of the last decade plus and decided to give them a shot after randomly watching Dr. Strange about 2 weeks ago, and enjoying it. Super hero movies just never really attracted me but I have to say, I’m enjoying these immensely. They’re mostly dumb fun, but that’s honestly been part of the attraction. I guess I’ve needed to turn my brain off and enjoy stuff like this lately. Maybe I’m just getting old. I’ve just gotten through Phase 1 and just wrapped up Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 (probably my least favorite of the ones I’ve watched so far). Other randoms that I’ve seen: Guardians 1, Antman 1&2, Black Panther. Not sure how long I’ll keep this up, but it’s quite addictive. Looking forward to the next one. Anything I should skip entirely? What’s the thread consensus on best film? I probably won’t be posting much given fear of spoilers.
You’re past the worst of it, the thread largely is agreed that IM3 and Thor 2 made up the bottom two. Best film is a different matter and is hotly debated. I have Thor 3, Captain America 2, Infinity War at the top, order keeps changing.
Honestly you just finished watching the skippable ones. Everything is pretty good to fucking great from here on out.
Cosigned, having done this same odyssey recently with similar background. You're coming off a slump and heading into an MVP-caliber stretch.
He did ask best film, and I think WS is a little tighter and probably the most “film” film of the MCU. Ragnarok just does it for me personally, I never pass up the chance for a rewatch.
Was tired of my ringtone so downloaded the avengers endgame ringtone. Now I don’t answer just so I can keep hearing the music.
I like how we are just completely disregarding Hulk 1 at this point like it doesn’t even exist. This is not sarcasm.
