The Bellingcat article is a lot of metadata stuff but I'll take Rothschild's word on more confirmation that it was the Watkins nutjobs.
If my last name were Rothschild, I hope I would have the self-awareness to understand that maybe tweeting factual things related to QAnon isn’t a good idea.
Not sure how you could watch that Q documentary and not come away from it confident that Q is Watkins.
Disagree. The Rothschild Family are a lightening rod for these people. They are so starved for reassurance that something as benign as someone who happens to have that name tweeting about Q is risky.
He is a reporter, his name should not matter at all. If someone is pushed over the line of supporting a conspiracy because Mike Rothschild's last name is Rothschild, then they were always going to cross that line. I am sure the fact that his last name is Rothschild has probably been some kind of inspiration to him at some point in his work in debunking conspiracies.
I believe all of it, he used to show up and ND games and be weird as shit. https://magazine.nd.edu/stories/jesus-actor-appears-at-grotto/
I liked them taking away his driving scenes because he nearly killed people in NY because his character would "come in hot".
mine was the dog that bit him because he couldn’t stop yanking the chain that was connected to the dog on set. After being told multiple times to stop yanking on the chain.
Finished the HBO doc. That was interesting. Ron and Jim are real fucking pieces of work. What has happened since then, any good cliffs on the last few months? Did Q ever post again? What are the Q folks that are still holding out hope doing?
No Q posts. They're holding onto deranged stuff from Lin Wood and that "audit" in Arizona that even the gop officials there said was bs. Big rally in Texas this weekend!!!!!
7 minute video where a dude bets his Qanon believing mom $100 on the biggest theories. She does not hedge at all.
My brother is a Q believer (I know, ). It’s been kind of an ordeal with the rest of the family trying to figure out how to deal with him. My sister sent me this screenshot of a text my 15 yo niece (sister’s daughter) sent to my brother after she had gotten one of the vaccine doses:
This is a great troll. My only suggestion would be to end the text with a trail of names and tagwords like this: Clinton, AOC, Gates, Oprah, and Tom Hanks will never force their communist baby eating wig party global government on this freedom loving American. We should make it illegal for people like them to talk. As long as I have an AR-15 in my cold dead hands I will never let them tread on me. Also, cops are always right (except the ones at the capital on January 6th)
“The government is using nano-tech in the vaccine to track and monitor all its citizens at all times!” “You know Verizon can do that without nanobots, right? You have your cell phone with you at all times.” “I can power it off and be off-the-grid if I choose to be.” “Are you genuinely worried about the government tracking you specifically?” “My life is my business. Why do they need to know what I do?” “But why would they WANT to know about YOU? In the past three years you’ve literally only been to work, home, the gas station, Wal-Mart, and Texas Roadhouse. They could save the billions on nano-tech and just ask Daryl at the Circle K.”
Whenever someone tells you they can power off their smartphone “to be off the grid,” ask them why the battery doesn’t come out…and watch their brain melt.
Or tell them that most hi-tech devices are like people in the sense that when you sleep your brain “shuts down” but your body continues all the involuntary operations. As do those devices. And they can be turned on and controlled remotely if someone has the very-real technology at their disposal. But that’s bullshit, and government-controlled nanobots inside a Trojan Horse vaccine is obvious. Or the much simpler hypocritical conundrum.. The fact that a decade ago (and their FB posts would show) those same exact people currently worried about the government conspiracy to track, monitor, and control all its citizens with viruses and vaccines were in fact the same exact bunch proclaiming “why do I care if they see my stuff, I have NOTHING to hide” during the terrorist scare and Patriot Act years.
This is a really good summary of how marketing companies simple leverage various sources of data to map out each individual target for their advertisements. Then they map out those around their target and use those around you in hopes of influencing your decision making. It’s pretty impressive when you think about it. Thread…
I wouldn't put it past companies to record conversations, since Alexa has already been doing that, but that thread is exactly correct. Companies don't have to do anything particularly nefarious because we have signed our privacy away via small print that nobody reads.
One facet of the thoroughly undercovered story of how EU nations have largely surpassed us (I do not intend to qualify that) is the way they have considered the digital revolution in renewed addresses of privacy concerns. When you see a website that represents a US corporation and they ask you about their cookie usage? Know that it's entirely due to EU legislation and that on this side of the pond we aren't even yet playing catch up, because our body politic is too stupid to even care and as a result our legislators have no incentive to invest in the issue.
