Franklin’s will be nuts that weekend. They’re have a food festival on the grounds with a ton of local culinary talent so that could be good too.
I saw you can order online now for Franklins so may put the order in a few days prior lol. We will try that...I think P3 is same day as qualifying, so planning to spend most of the day there Saturday
Nah. They suck in Covid times cause everyone's faces are all covered up and they're not wearing anything "interesting". If he does one for Monaco though I'll check that out because Monaco is different like that. I find his personal travels interesting. Dude lives in high end hotels and multiple bedroom Airbnb's just by himself and doesn't go home for months. I'm fairly certain his business he owns back in Australia just bank rolls his photography profession. I can't imagine he makes enough from his photos to pay for all his travels.
I thought that Horner enjoyed it more than the usual interview as it was more laid back, and he didn't get asked a ton of technical questions.
I really enjoyed the Horner interview. He was surprisingly laid back compared to how he normally comes off.
So Totto said that Mercedes has punted on 2021 car outside of tiny tweaks. That they are focused on 2022. Ferrari has also said the same. Not surprisingly. Mercedes making that claim is shocking
Will Buxton talked about this on his "this week" episode this week. The Formula E race at Monaco was incredible because the cars aren't near as massive as the F1 cars and it allowed for move overtaking. It's still Monaco, so overtaking will be tough, but overall the racing was so much better. I know it's been this way even back with the cars were tiny, but now you literally just have to drive in the middle of the track and no one will be able to get by. That and the ability to ride closer behind the car in front will do wonders for the racing in 2022
As you said Monaco will always be tough but the size downgrade should help on other tracks like the one they just raced on.
And I know this is silly buy I do like the change to engine noise. This current generation of engine noise doesn't do it for me
Alonso unable to get out of the bottom five in Q1, 17th whereas his teammate managed 10th. Schumacher never attempted a lap because of a mishap in FP3 earlier.
Ricciardo the unexpected casualty of Q2. Looks aren’t everything apparently (that’s what my mom told my ugly ass growing up, heyo).
Lewis being 7th to start is very low and never seemed comfortable. Won’t expect a ton of championship points tomorrow.
If they have to repair or change out the gearbox that is the penalty they’ll probably know right away but guessing we won’t know anything until tomorrow in Charles post quali interview he seemed pretty resigned to getting the penalty
Perez is, to this point, really not cutting it in being a helpful second for Verstappen. Fair criticism or am I being harsh? I’m still finding my sea legs in this sport.
At the same time, with friends like Bottas, who needs enemies? Dude loves rebelling against team orders to get in Lewis’ way.
He had some bad traffic in Q3. But I would agree that he’s been disappointing to this point. Carlos seems like the best addition
