I thought the trailer was beautiful. Clearly shows Chloe Zhao's touch and the cast is wonderful. Just like GotG, a lot of fans didn't know about them and will end up enjoying it. I expect the same here for a good chunk of the viewers
Could you imagine how triggered a select group of people would be if Joe Biden had actually cameo’ed as old Cap
It feels like the “new” formula has moved away from the Dr Erskine “amplifies everything” idea. There has been a lot of talk about Bucky’s strength vs Cap and Walker. In reality, his strength was never specifically mentioned, nor has it been revealed what Zola gave Bucky. We assume that’s what keeps him alive after he falls off the train, but Bucky gives no indication that he is any stronger or aware of anything different. We’ve seen Bucky do amazing things, like jump off of the overpass when he’s fighting Cap or jump without a shute in the show. However, most of his feats have to do with the arm. Maybe he’s just not as strong as we thought? Cap seems to be notorious for playing up or down to his competition. He held off Thanos for a few seconds, but also took a while to take out Batroc on the ship. Cap’s strength level is all over the place from movie to movie. just off the top of my head: 40’s - Skull takes an unfinished dose of Erskine’s formula and has side effects Cap gets the perfected Erskine formula. Bucky gets something from Zola after Bucky falls off the train he gets the arm and who knows what else? Then we dont have much happening for a while, even though Zola is working for Shield. Was he still working on his own formula? We find out that the Army was experimenting on Black soldiers during Korea or Vietnam (can’t remember) Then we cut to Howard Stark having six samples of his formula (working with Shield or Army, or both?) when he was killed. Those cause the Russians to go crazy and they have to cryofreeze them. Next we have Ross tricking Banner into working on the formula before the accident. Ross gives Blonsky a partial dose and then a full dose in the hospital. Was that Stark’s stuff? Banners? Then we have nothing until the doctor from the show reveals he has a dozen doses of a whole new upgraded formula that doesn’t change your appearance. My biggest questions are what’s the deal with Zola for 20 years, are these different formulas connected, or will we see other versions come out in the future?
I honestly might be more excited for Moon Knight than anything else Marvel is putting out right now. Most people don't know what he is when it comes to fantastic characters. And Oscar Isaac on board? Come on. Pretty much a 0% chance this won't be a yet another home run for the MCU.
I'm enjoying it so far. A couple.of the mid-credit scenes don't make sense (Like Capt Marvel) but overall it works. I just finished up the Avengers. So what I've watched is Captain America Captain Marvel Iron Man Iron Man 2 Hulk (first time I ever watched it, it sucked) Thor The Avengers Edit: it's actually Thor: Dark World then both GOTG https://www.amctheatres.com/amc-scene/the-best-way-to-rewatch-the-mcu
I set myself up for that smh Looked it up....looks like biggest difference is placement of GOTG and GOTG2
That seems mostly meaningless I guess, all cosmic. Except the Ego-climax, did that ever come up in another movie or show? Giant blue blob taking over Missouri or wherever?
AMC says to do it this order because you'll get the space movies out of the way. And Dark World mentions the Infinity Stones and GOTG features them so it makes you think they're going to be featured in the MCU going forward
Apparently we are getting the new Spider-Man trailer tomorrow. Or at least this week. Theaters already have it.
