I don't think I'm cut out for day trading. Even though I'm up right now I have no idea if I will be at market open tomorrow once these both settle. If I'm still up then I'll have to decide to sell or keep it going. And I think the stress of doing that with each trade is not worth it. I'm never going to risk my life savings so it's not like I'll ever get any huge return. Hopefully I sell both of these at a gain. But gain or loss... This is going to be going into an index fund.
I’m trying to learn that every trade doesn’t have to be perfect. You can take profits and leave plenty on the table, and you should still be happy because you got profits. I apparently stupidly sold out of AHT once I got like a 15% profit. Had A LOT runway left on it apparently, and may still have plenty more. Oh well. Good for the guys who held and sell it at the perfect timing. It’s just not reasonable to expect to do that often.
This is where I am. I’ve missed out on $1k here or there by selling early, but I’m trying to stay focused on getting out with 10-20% here and there. I haven’t had to sell anything at a loss yet, and I’m up 25% in total over the past two months which is right on target with what I wanted (10%/month).
Especially with whatever happened with AMC after market. Checked it a little while ago and noticed an even higher bump
I like AHT a lot due to it being beat up during the pandemic and past performance but I don’t know shit
Who knows, the Reddit dipshits say 500k price target. Which would make AMC more valuable than the entire world’s GDP lol.
I bought AMC back in January at the peak at $16.50. It collapsed and I figured I’d just hold it until it got back to where I bought at. I’ve completely ignored it until today and see it’s about to hit $50
Have a decent amount of AMC shares at a 9.84 pps, im enjoying this run up. Have initial plus some profit already taken out.
Up about $5k today on AMC and have little clue how this squeeze is supposed to work. Wha... what do I do with my hands?
I got in at $34 today. Sold what I bought in for literally 5 mins before trading suspended. The remaining shares are all profit that will likely turn to mush now that trading has been suspended
Not really, this shit is bad for my health haha. That being said.... did buy 100 shares of AMC at $30 on Friday, sold today at 60. I’ll take $3k for minimal work/stress
bought some AHT the other day but haven't pulled the trigger on a call option yet because I haven't done that before and I'm scared that I don't know what I'm doing lol
