He had zero interest. If he transfers, it won’t be to PSU either unless Yurcich somehow changes things
right so it's more like this? 2021 Stroud FR McCord FR 2022 Stroud SO McCord Soph Ewers RS 2023 Stroud JR McCord Jr Ewers R FR 2024 Ewers R SO
In order to belabor this even more, if Stroud starts in 2021 and 2022, he will be in the NFL in 2023. He isn’t coming back for another year.
it's very rare for redshirt sophomore QBs to head to the draft. and most of them end up being awful. https://www.nfldraftdiamonds.com/2021/03/redshirt-sophomore/ not that it's impossible that stroud would do it but i'd bet money against it happening given the history of RS SO QBs and Stroud's non-prototypical build.
Whether they are ready or not, very few players in our program who start for two years stick around for a third. If Stroud beats out Miller, McCord, and Ewers for two years then he is gone. Haskins left after three. Fields left after three. Stroud will leave after three if he starts two.
Yeah the tweet I quoted and half the thread talking about Quinn Ewers was kind of a giveaway. He looks similar in that pic.
FWIW everyone on our side thinks he’s a Bama lock and is trolling / having fun, was previously committed. High confidence on this side
he threw shade at FSU in an interview so fans got pissed and also when he scholarship was no longer valid
It’s Coley’s fault. But I do thank him for his south Florida inroads. Keep him as far away from the game plan, WR’s and QB as possible.
Feels like June/July is going to be a wild couple months in recruiting with all the visits opened up. Record low number of commitments in May from all the kids waiting for visits. Plus all the committed kids now going out and taking all these visits.
