I've now been cucked by my wife and she set up a meeting tomorrow with the dog below. Pit mix. Still cute, but a bit annoyed at my wife
Yeah that's what I told my wife. I'm not gonna see a rescue dog and it be good with my son and say no.
I'm still annoyed my wife cut me in line for another pupper, but this Lil pitty mix is really sweet and he and my son are already in love.
i am here because i searched "dog cancer" bless you, unfortunately running similar scenarios this evening. but lining things up with an oncology specialist this week
Groot had me worried as fuck. He didn’t eat for 2 days. He wasn’t lethargic and luckily was drinking water but I was worried. Today I had to hand feed him and put some bananas in his food and be finally ate two bowls of food. I think maybe the heat got to him.
There’s a cat across the street just sitting there switching it’s tail, taunting. I can toss a treat on the floor and go to different rooms in the house and he won’t move til I say, but this particular stay is his hell.
Had three a few years back (wife had 2 and I had 1 when we moved in). Loved it but won’t do it again.
yes kibble with freeze dried raw salmon bits. he is kind of a nut TBQH. On Saturday I am usually running around. So I can’t sit in the room with him while he eats so if I am not in the room he won’t eat. So I was used to him not eating Saturday but what freaked me out was him not eating Sunday. He is back to normal now.
Sadie our plott just stopped eating one day so we started pouring in some chicken broth with it and had no issues I think sometimes they just get bored
Happens at the end of every bag of food we buy. We get the same brand but a different flavor and she gobbles it up. She just gets tired of the same thing everyday for a month.
I’m looking at getting an Olde English Bulldog, but I’m a bit worried about heading back into the office in the fall. Right now seems like the perfect time to get him trained and accustomed to life/routine… but I feel like this is a huge step for me lol
Gonna try for one of these guys: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/mack-51788056/il/plainfield/wags-2-wishes-animal-rescue-il774/ https://www.petfinder.com/dog/miles-51863829/il/plainfield/wags-2-wishes-animal-rescue-il774/ Anyone have a Cockapoo?
Have had cockapoos in the past, and the family swears by them. Wonderful dogs, were great with kids and low maintenence. Recommend to everyone that asks, but particularly first-timers or people without massive yards.
Never had a problem with seresto collars in Dierks' 8 years, no ticks yada yada. News lately about recalls and deaths potentially attributed to it. I've always bought mine from my trusted vet. More thinking about the next soon pup. Anyone else using seresto collars?
Nope, standard collars for me. Vizsla's have short hair and virtually no hair on their belly so they're easy to keep flea free.
Love the name! Haven't seen a picture of her? (or him) yet I don't believe. Let's see it. I think right now it's one of those things he's never had an allergic reaction to it, so why change buying it from my vet. Thousands and thousands of reviews and reactions are from counterfeit sellers on Amazon.
I had a couple photos I uploaded recently but now I can't seem to find them in my imgur, I know I posted in the recent dog show thread. I know tons of people swear by them but I just worry about the chemicals or whatever concoction it consists of being on my dog 24/7. I also don't live in tick country so I only have to worry about fleas.
