I was traveling last weekend and it was clear they didn’t have enough tsa agents to run the security lines. They grouped precheck with everyone else which I wasn’t expecting then only had three agents checking ID’s. Almost missed my flight. I’ve definitely experienced worse at other airports, but I was thrown off by how off their game they seemed.
The plane train ride, even from T, is probably faster than walking to the Uber lot and waiting on the chaos that is the Uber pick up point
Oh really? Haven't traveled since pre Covid and wasn't sure they were back to picking up curbside on the domestic side. So a month ago I picked my parents up on the delta side and it was a fucking nightmare. I'm not sure that construction helped anything
Did they finally get their liquor license? They were doing 2 free drinks with your meal or something like that
Monday Night is 10 years old? I remember getting there stuff when it just came out. That means I haven’t lived in ATL for 7 years.
I’m thinking about coming out of Covid hibernation for this event And getting pants shitting drunk on arguably the best all around beer in the city
yea that entire development is going to be (really already is) A+. Hop City with Monday Night + Wild Heaven + Best End. Also ASW Whiskey. Then within a short walk you have Lean Draft House, Boggs Social & Phew's Pies. Def check it out next time youre in/around the airport or downtown.
They’ve got liquor. They were just giving away for “free” before they had license to sell is my understanding
Girl Diver was pretty good, not great. Beer selection was awful, which in this day shouldn't be hard. Drink list was pretty good, had a few cocktails. Food was a little expensive-ish, but probably normal for seafood. Crabcakes were meh, dumplings and puff pastry apps were pretty decent. Had Octopus, which was pretty good.
Want to head over there. Ordered some. Of Monday night's new sour from their special release so have to go to west end
They have a bunch of food stalls up and running in the building now and a full bar. Also building a Fox Bros.
It’s awesome. I feel like when we bought our house in the area a few years ago we hit the jack pot. Couldn’t be happier over here.
And Desta is opening a place over in the shopping center where Ted's Montana Grill and Westside Pizza are.
Wife and I went to Apt4b on Peachtree last night and it was delicious, definitely recommend it. I love Caribbean food and their cracked coch and ox tail pasta were both legit
Anyone here have a drywall guy you can recommend? I don’t have much (half a room) but trying to hang this by myself is a god damn nightmare.
Is there a CASUAL Italian place in town better than Gio's? I see this La Grotta place is the top rated but that would require me to put on pants and likely have a reservation.
