First of 5 pairs I have coming. Went a little overboard the last couple weeks. Got these for what I think was a really good price on StockX
drunk beo is bad with sticking to budgets. It is honestly why I haven’t tried to get in on any drops lately. Have the ghost green 1s, cool grey 4s, second pair of bacons and the 2 pairs of UCLA am 90s in route and the 11 legend blues I got my son. I think I’m done until the Oreo 4s . I’m not even upset I missed on the 380s.
It’s cool that these come in the regular 1s box. I like them. Feel reminds me of Vans and I don’t hate that.
Chlorophylls got to GOAT and were used. Dude offered $13 back....Now they are looking for a replacement which is probably going to fail because they are now going for like $80 more than when I ordered..' Dumb.
On the one hand they were only used light enough for dude to think he could get them passed off. On the other hand, fuck only $13 off.
In the draw for the Dunks and Air Max went ahead and got myself these because I figure it will be double L today again. Edit. and there is the Double L.
I passed on the Puerto Ricans but they have me an L anyway. Thanks snkrs. Dicks. Still didn't get the Jordans or Dunks.
Well Kylebw1 was right the quality of these is amazing. The leather and suede is great. Been awhile since I’ve worn true lows I have weak ankles so I sometimes wear something to give my ankles extra support. Didn’t with these and them being so low felt weird. Honestly the cut seems lower than my AF1s and AM90s. Didn’t hate it but it was different. I don’t wear shorts don’t own any type of shorts other than workout ones so IDK what type to wear with these. Anyway glad I picked these up and for about 15 over retail it was a steal imo. I need to learn how to take pictures. #wearyoursneakers
Man you know this crew has soured on the gl III when nobody is talking about those looming concepts bangers
i assume you mean the NBs you just posted? They are nice I’m just not a NB fan. I’d wear them though if I was.
those are nice to but like the NB not a fan of fashion ASICS. I know this is gonna sound weird but I see NB and ASICS as workout shoes and not fashion shoes. Maybe because that is only how I’ve ever worn them.
Idk why I don't wear Asics anymore. I liked GL5, not so much GL3. Same with NB. Just don't wear them anymore. I found my lane and they aren't in it. Still like the way they look though.
You definitely need to get over that, or at least accept the fact that the modern market features NB and Asics silos that are absolutely meant to be for "performance" but others that are clearly oriented towards fashion at this point. Concepts isn't interested in giving you a good cw to work out in lol
yeah the last two you posted are hella nice. I’d wear both but I assume they are crazy expensive and hard to get.
Concepts is definitely in Tier 1 of boutiques when it comes to collabs. They don't just do a dope colorway, they tell a story. That's awesome to me.
They're not just green shoes, they're green to remind one of the statue of liberty. That was one of theirs, right?
No. They had nothing to do with the Statue of Liberty. They were the Yankee pair in a Yankees/Red Sox pack. The Yankees logo was stolen from a medal given to a cop after being shot. It was made by Tiffany and Co. They were Tiffany teal bc the medal the logo was stolen from. More here: https://www.mlb.com/news/yankees-new-york-logo-origin
Another one was the Esruc, which is Curse backwards. It was based in the flyer to publicize the play No, No, Nanette, the play the Sox owner sold Babe Ruth to produce.
One of my favorites, from when they opened a store in Miami. The insole was even red to show the bloodshed over coke in Miami. The box was a bail of cash lol. Coke white midsole, green upper for the leaf, brown for dirt. Just awesome. A bit more on the scandalous side, the Concepts x ASICS Gel-Respector “Coca” was a tribute to the eponymous flower used to make cocaine and, well, the money that comes with it. This nod to narcotics came boxed in a shoebox designed to look like a stash of cash and featured a similar green suede colorway. Natural gum rubber outsoles, paired with the green suede upper resemble the aforementioned leaf, while the white midsoles represented, you guessed it, coke. Most brands wouldn’t dare touch something so controversial or at least not be so blatant about it. For their continued sense of daring, we had to add this one to the list.
Hmm not sure. That pack was the Rivalry Pack iirc. Fieg die a Tiffany GLV with Diamond, which is known for the Tiffany color. Don't remember a statue one.
I have these but never wear them. They just feel likes absolute bricks to me. I'm so spoiled by boost and primeknit.
