These jerseys are 100x better than the current ones. I think they would look good with the OG Titans flames helmet. Or better put the flames on this helmet
I remember going to training camp at TSU back in 1998 and seeing the Oilers uniforms and thinking they were sooo cool
So what are yall hoping for in the draft? Gonna use this to help with the TMB mock. I'm thinking best available past rusher or CB in the first and second. Then a playmaker and oline depth.
WR CB Edge I got no idea who or what to expect other than Vrabel will probably try to do something weird again on draft night Hopefully the player we draft in the first round will make it to year two of his contract
Already had my 1st round pick by the time you posted lol. Went with Barmore cause Bama..not really but hey.
Excited to see which SEC player Robinson selects tonight. Hopefully Vrabel doesn't come across as a joke again tonight. That was a really bad look in hindsight given the lack of accurate intel we got on Wilson
If Farley's health makes this another bust I'm all for not letting Robinson make the 1st round picks anymore.
Considering what was on the board I don’t like the pick. The medical stuff worked out with Simmons but it just seems risky
it does seem like we just spent another first round pick on a person with huge bust potential but not because of character at least. Hopefully he had wonderful surgeons and gets a bit of luck
I can’t believe we picked him. So many other intriguing options at positions of need. I had even talked myself into the LB from Norte Dame. Back injuries are way different to project recovery from than an ACL like Big Jeff. Would have rather had Newsome, Stokes, Oweh, Ojulari, Rousseau or traded back. I give it at C- at best.
I’m pretty happy with this draft tbh. Really filled some gaps and added depth. No real major splash name that end of the round
Remote possibility, sure. But from everything I've read we would have to restructure existing deals. Not saying it's impossible but I think "remote" is the best description. Most likely we make some smaller additions. edit: not to mention what we would have to give up to get him.
If Farley is healthy this could be a pretty good draft. I don't like that we didn't really address the receiving we lost from last year though. We lost like 1,800 yards and 15 TDs so about half our production and we added Josh Reynolds whose career highs are 618 yards last year and 5 TDs back in 2018 and then added two WRs that were generally viewed as late round/special teams picks. Not excited about them at all.
Have to imagine Rosenhaus is spinning this pretty hard. A long-term extension with Evans has to be a very low priority for Robinson if it is even something he wants to do
translation: we'll keep him around if does well early this season and then will sign for next to nothing. I hate that he has been a disappointment. Great in the box/downhill but kind of sucks at everything else.
He's not great at anything based on what I've read So pissed about this Weaver deal. We better not sign his ass
Dude is good at stopping the run between the tackles, especially near the goal line. Can't cover, blitz, or play the outside run
I think more details need to come out. Normally I'd agree with you but that article says that one witness said he punched the girl, another witness says they didn't see a punch just the girl fall down and the police said they didn't find injuries consistent with with a punch to the head. He may very well have done it but that article definitely doesn't make that conclusion.
Yeah it’s been pretty tough to see him basically not make any progress (and you could argue he has regressed) over the last few seasons. I thought he was destined to be one of the key leaders of our team going into last season...and then he gets tossed in week 1
The Athletic had something this week where execs around the league talk about other teams draft classes... Jon Robinson is really lucky he works in such a small market Five consecutive winning seasons across two coaching staffs have masked a poor run of early drafting for the Titans, a run execs think could worsen after Tennessee used its first-round pick for a cornerback with two back surgeries in his medical file. Caleb Farley at No. 22 seemed like a risky pick for a team whose 2020 first-round choice, Isaiah Wilson, is already out of the league. “If the corner becomes a good player, God bless them, but his medical was terrible,” an exec said. “You look at the Isaiah Wilson pick last year. Then you have (Rashad) Weaver in the fourth round this year with an assault case that comes out. Then you go back and look at all the fifth-year options that were declined, and then the one they picked up was for Adoree Jackson, who they cut. There are a lot of mishaps there that it seems like just aren’t being talked about.” It’s all true, but with Ryan Tannehill’s career revival helping Tennessee go 11-5 last season for its best record since 2008, the Titans own the NFL’s ninth-best record in three seasons under coach Mike Vrabel. “We liked the North Dakota State guard they took (Dillon Radunz) in the second round,” a GM said. “He could play right tackle. But we were way more worried about Farley’s back than some of the other injuries for guys in the first couple rounds.”
He's definitely had his numerous shitty decisions masked by Tannehill's revival, Henry beasting, AJ being amazing and a few others.
You know I seriously doubt we could offer up near enough to trade for Julio but D Henry suggesting it on twitter has me fantasizing just throwing the hail mary and trying to strike while the iron is hot and trotting out Henry, Julio, and AJ against opposing defenses
I'd be down doing what we needed to make it happen. Not like we've crushed it with first rounders and this window with both Tannethrill and Henry isn't gonna be open for too long. I don't think it'd take multiple firsts but I have a long track record of being wrong on many things
I’ve seen a lot of takes on social media about how the Titans shouldn’t be willing to give up a first for Julio if that’s what it would take. Clearly those idiots have not seen our track record for early picks. Proven player at a huge position of need>>>> Robinsons drafting choices every day all day until proven otherwise (of course this also comes from a huge Bama/Titans homer that would give anything to see two of the all-time greats under Saban on the field at the same time)
