I’m just pissed i bet on him to KO Paul. Mayweather didn’t throw a meaningful punch in rounds 1-3, and 8.
Ali fought a NHL player, a NFL player and a comedian. Floyd's a piece of shit, but this does nothing to his legacy.
A lot call Floyd the goat but he couldn't knock out the Big Show without those brass knuckles, fuck off and weight discrepancy is a bullshit excuse.
I’m really not proud of it. It was a moment of weakness. It was fun for an hour or whatever but not worth $50 first person to quote this with a legitimate charity I will donate $50 to
These are all likely fixed, and will continue to be. The Paul family seems like a bunch of jackasses, but they are robbing so much money from people, and will never have to work again, soon.
Soon? He's a clown but he was extremely rich before last night. He makes like $20m on YT. He brother is at like $15m.
It was a work. Rigged. Fixed. Scripted. However you want to put it. Floyd had a sizable financial motivation to carry Paul through the fight and he did. Not sure why people are confused about this.
A couple of times I thought Floyd was getting mad and about to let him have it. Would have been really great to see him go off script.
I feel like there’s a couple clips out there if this obviously being a work. Does that effect refunds any?
I guess but they didn’t market it as theater. There’s two solid clips of Mayweather knocking Paul out and then grabbing him and holding him up. That’s kinda fucked up from a moral standpoint imo
I get that Boxing is violent but there’s rules in place to make it less dangerous. If you watch a match and expect to see boxing and you see a guy knock a guy out then hold him up until he regains then later on knock him out again and pull the same move I think you are allowed to feel bad about your money contributing to that bull shit. I guess we will see how it plays out but I wouldn’t be surprised to see this become something
anyone who paid to watch that deserves losing their money. Just watched Kellerman talking about it and while I don’t agree with everything he said, he was right in that Floyd said he was an exhibition and he was going out there to have fun. They didn’t have judges. It’s definitely going to become a thing sadly I think it already is a thing. I say that because my 16 yo daughter knew about the fight and asked me if I was going to watch the Logan Paul fight.
I feel like we are in a timeline where people need to be saved from themselves and basically, here, I’m hoping people take this disgusting neglect for someone’s safety and use it as an opportunity to get their $50 back so we can end this bull shit before Mike Tyson murders a tiktoker
Still one of my all time favorite fights with Kownacki 2 fights ago against Arreola. When they threw like 1,000 punches each. Just how wild was this 12-round bout? The two fighters combined to break CompuBox records for most combined punches thrown (2,172) and punches landed (667) in a heavyweight fight.
Any of you guys do any boxing? I joined a club with my eldest a few weeks ago, but I'm feeling 20 years and 20lbs past my prime
