Wonder why we haven’t gotten any update on the Georgia covers album from Isbell, lately. He posted all over social media about recording it a few months ago, but no announcement of a release date or even a track listing.

This was an amazing show. Haven’t listened to the spotify yet, but hopefully it picks up their story telling between songs. Was going to recommend exactly these. If those are already booked, there’s a Hampton inn near the Florence Mall that isn’t terrible. Definitely not nice though.
Was looking at Airbnb’s in the area and I’m pretty sure Harvey Updyke is in one of the pictures. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/331505...on_id=p3_1623183003_XvZlgmHPQX5hdlyt&guests=1
Did you check the Hampton Inn? It'll probably be nicer than some Airbnbs around the area. Just a heads up, Town Creek is going to be a long way from Shoalsfest, and you won't be able to get a driver over to that side of the river, most likely. Also, internet presale started today - got my tickets. Don't want to post the access code publicly, but PM me if you want it.
Let me look a little this morning. I’m guessing by now, most everything is booked Unfortunately, this town just doesn’t have the hotels to support the number of out of towners.
Yeah the first 6 hotels on the website were booked. The Baymont by Wyndham has rooms but it’s 15 minutes away by car. Which might be alright if the parking will be ok.
Parking was good last time. The festival is in a large park near downtown on the river. There used to be a golf course, but it’s no longer open so they just had people parking all over that.
That Baymont is going to be in a good location for y'all. I didn't even realize it was right there, to be honest. The Hampton Inn I was recommending is only about 1/4 mile away. Without traffic, and there really wasn't much last time, you can get down there in less than 10 minutes. The downtown restaurants are going to be packed because there aren't a ton of them and they are small. But, you'll have some easy chain options near you to grab something quick and Publix/Walmart nearby to stock up on anything you need. If anyone is getting into town Friday and wants dinner recs, let me know. I'm sure things are going to get booked up quickly.
