Trying to decide on my birthday shoes. I can get anything I want (within reason) and I can’t decide. Been on a Jordan kick lately but may look at some Yeezys.
How are the fragment dunks sitting so low in price? I figured they’d be impossible to get. I’m guessing because they aren’t lows?
Had to get the dunks today and kopped the white version as well off stockx. Took the L on the app. Wanted the new parras until I saw the price but those are beautiful. If they dip below 1k I’ll sell the what the Pauls and grab them
My drunken purchase finally arrived. I guess I ended up going up half a size because the UNCs felt like then were a little small. mc415 they are lighter than I expected. Getting the Oreos but I think I’m done for a bit after this. I think my wife is getting me the Dia De Los Muertos for Father’s Day. Hopefully we go out to eat that day so I can finally wear my Chicago’s.
Yup, I love them. But I refuse to pay almost $500 for them. Still sitting on a stupid low bid for them so I can get regular updates.
that’s a nice budget. Do you have the zebra 350s? I’m on a 4s kick right now so the unc and this cool greys are nice. The pine greens are nice too.
to be fair I one ordered and canceled the purchase a few times before that night. So while I was drunk it just made me say fuck it and not cancel the order. Out the last few pairs I bought that was really the only expensive pair. I think I spent more on those that the other pairs combined or very close to it. Like I said I don’t have a problem with afterpay and it was $450 (zero interest) over 2 months. All up front and I wouldn’t have.
I've seen that on there and just tried to pretend it didn't exist. My stupid monkey brain can warrant 3 payments of $150 when $450 up front seems silly
to be fair it would be like 115 or so because it’s 4 payments but I get what you’re saying it’s a lot to spend on shoes. My first payment is deferred two weeks so it’s nothing down 4 payments spread out over 2 months. Since it’s zero interest it makes my head think it’s okay.
Do the 350s seem to fit like the 380s? I ask because I normally wear an 11.5 Nike, got 380 in size 12, and they feel a bit snug on the toes. I really want the cloud white 350, and the 12 is $100 cheaper than the 12.5
I think they look pretty nice but they’re snug for me. I got 2 pairs and tried one on and it was too small for me (am a 13). Gave the tried on pair to my bro who’s a 12 and they fit him perfectly.
Need some comparison opinions and to see if anyone owns either. https://stockx.com/jordan-3-retro-infrared-23 vs https://stockx.com/air-jordan-3-retro-true-blue-2016
I have received true blue and the quality on the leather wasn't great. For that price range, I'd look at the Carolina blue aj3. i have the True Blues and they are so nice on the feet might actually buy another pair mine are beat by now I wore them so much
Fusiontegra or the A Ma Maniere 3 that came out last month and is releasing on snkrs tomorrow. Best quality aj3 I've seen.
Here's the thing...I can't wear colors of teams I'm not a fan of. Like, I'm not trying to buy a bunch of UF stuff but...I'm not buying UNC-themed gear either.
Literally any other shade of blue and your argument would hold water. Those are absolutely associated to UNC.
You and literally every other non-dbl person in the country, evidently. My wife hates sports. And if I bought those shoes, the first thing she would do when I put them on was ask me, "why'd you buy North Carolina shoes?"
Only bc he went to school there. Could just as easily be UCLA. Or Tampa Bay Rays. Or GS Warriors. Or Denver Nuggets. You can make them into anything you want. They are just baby blue and white 3s.
I know I was just joking Usually Jordan’s that colorway are called “university blue” for a reason lol
All of the teams he listed have past or alternate unis that heavily feature baby blue...but no one who even marginally follows sports would ever associate that blue and white with anything but UNC - regardless of the shoe's namesake being perhaps its most famous alum, which isn't even a fact you can disregard in this situation. But I'm not getting dbl'd on such a stupid fucking topic.
I get them because I like powder blue but I know it’s not close to UCLA’s powder blue. There is no way you would get the two confused. Also lol I looked those 3s and they are literally called UNC3s
