Ehh not sure how it helps any RB to put more miles on you. Otis maybe could have proven something by coming back but McCrae already topped out. Size was always going to work against them. Don't think it would have helped Marlon either. Now Gowan yeah absolutely but I get the feeling he needs the money.
On the ESPN app, Gowan has been the best available for awhile. Sucks he didn’t get another year at UCF.
Thats a good situation for him, they need help in the secondary. So three DB's and a TE drafted, not a bad draft by our standards.
I literally don’t remember much about him. He sat out last season after having a child and getting covid and only played one season before that as the replacement when our starter ruined his knee in the 4th quarter of a blowout.
Yea I expected the RBs to get a shot somewhere at least. Who else is there though? WRs all have a place. DBs too.
I think of we’re being honest, neither of them was special. They were good for the system though. McRae has good vision and balance but is below average everywhere else.
Yep, the only reason that killins got signed as a FA with his size is he because he is Olympic sprinter fast. McCrea and Otis, not so much
I think Greg was better than y'all say, but he couldn't do shit with blocking, which will definitely keep you off an NFL roster
McCrae was great, dude ran like Derrick Henry. Unfortunately he sized like half of a Derrick Henry which is going to be hard to work in the NFL unless you got something else going for you like AK does
Yeah luckily they robbed us when no one was there. No damage to our space. Just took cash and iPad. Lost over a grand worth of shit so that blows.
So our landlord is re-doing the building and is putting a bathroom in for us. Right now that door leads to just a giant construction zone so its very likely one of the workers came in before/after a shift and cleaned us out. We're dealing with the landlord and the contractor now. I'll definitely not get what I lost back but hope something.
KZ seems to be having a good time since breaking up with that athletic trainer gf https://instagram.com/janyarbos?utm_medium=copy_link
Not gonna lie, saw her on insta a year or so ago and yeah that would make me rethink transferring. I'd ride the bench for that.
Heupel’s staff looks even more inept on the recruiting side of things when sandwiched between Frost and Gus
We've literally never had a staff with more than 1 guy known as a good recruiter. Weird that our old white guy from Ark is the first one to understand you need young and exciting assistants to do that job.
I could get behind this https://www.si.com/college/tmg/.amp...-IVh2dopYcE3OE69YeQqbADzsR2GVhUof4u7uNUHhaTYo
I like the idea of anything that gets more inclusion, I have a feeling it won't come from this though, its going to take playoff expansion. With this plan, I'm skeptical of how much CSU and SDSU move the needle, Boise does somewhat but is it enough? The same old arguments from the P5 will come out: They don't add anything to the package from which they will be getting paid, thus all they will do is split the money we are getting, etc.
I think we could easily sell that we are more likely to put a kid in a position to play for a championship than most of the schools that are P5. Like let's be serious, Miss. State and Missouri and shit like that don't have half a prayer of getting into the playoff. All we have to do is beat a relatively weak schedule and play 2-3 tough games a season.
I mean this makes there about 30 schools worth considering if you are a top recruit and we're better option than half of those.
Yeah that would be a game changer for big G5 schools. Lowly P5 schools no longer have advantage in recruiting.
They still have the money advantage with some better facilities and better TV access. They also get to tell kids "scouts want to see how you play against the big dogs." But if we play our cards right, we would be considered one of them anyway.
This kinda renews my interest in college football. It was getting bad. So just top of my head league by league relevant. American UCF Cincy Memphis SMU? USF? ACC Clemson FSU Miami UNC B12 Oklahoma Texas Iowa St? TCU? Oklahoma St? B10 OSU PSU Mich Mich St Iowa NW? Wisconsin CUSA Marshall FAU FIU UAB La Tech MAC Feel like every year a new team pops up MWC Boise SJSU Nev SDSU PAC Wash Stanford? Oregon USC Colo? UT SEC Bama Auburn LSU UF A&M Sunbelt Coastal App St ULL That is pretty much the entire list of relevant teams now. Occasionally you get like Indiana or an Arizona St but thats at most 40ish teams with a shot to win the league or get an at-large.
Currently the list of relevant teams are Ohio State, Clemson, and Bama. Then you have the one team that had a good enough year to get the one other spot.
Imagine making the sport 10x more accessible and thinking thats bad. Even if you are one of those 3 who cares, you should stay king.
This is a Program saving decision if it becomes official. I was worried that a wall would be hit if the current system stayed in place for 10 years the good ole boy network boardroom postseason has made me become apathetic to the Sport , all you can ask for is a road playoff game and end it on the right terms .
Yeah all those bowls deserve to gom I'm sorry for the jobs that will be lost but the bottom 10-15 are just TV filler for ESPN and no one cares, probably even the kids who play in them.
At this point I can’t imagine that bottom tier of bowls are actually making any money. It will be a mercy killing
Once it was obvious the pac12 was rarely ever getting in and Notre Dame too frequently took another p5 spot the 4 team model was never going to stick. This is still about accessibility for the p5 but thankfully we can actually benefit this time
I can’t wait for the first time the SEC gets like 4 or 5 teams in. Everyone not the SEC is going to go fucking ballistic
