It’s going to be a transition for sure. My wife and I both work in roles which required us to travel fairly regularly precovid. We rarely checked a bag, always traveled light. I now am imagining needing the luggage cart for a simple week long trip. I mean just going to a friends house now requires a huge bag of stuff of “just in case” items.
Bought a midsize suv when we had 1. Paid it off pretty quickly then I swear a month after the final payment she was pregnant with #2. It’ll be fine for a bit but damn I wish we would have known and got the full size then.
Have any of you went from a mini van to a large SUV i.e. Suburban, Expedition Max, etc. If so, did you like the move? Did you find more storage room? I have 3 kids now, going to be 4 in the fall. Considering upgrading.
Just accidentally pulled an emergency alarm in our hospital room. Within 10 seconds 6 nurses burst through the door...I was just trying to figure out how to get the curtains up.
Update: I pulled a thing that said “Code” in blue. Apparently a code blue is medical life threatening situation.
Yeah Code Blue means someone is actively dying. Basically the worst one to hit lol. Actually there's other codes for like bomb threats but a blue will have like 5 people in your room with a crash cart in as many seconds.
Yep. Blippi at least has some production and educational value. There’s a lot of just straight trash out there. Ryan and his family suck.
I feel for you. My son did a lot of Blippi and a lot of Axel, I was able to avoid Ryan for the most part. Now my son is 4.5 and watches a ton of Scooby Doo which is just
At first when he was watching Ryan was doing science experiments so it wasn’t terrible. Now it’s stupid stuff like watching him play video games and I just don’t get it. You may not be in the clear, my son is 6. He started watching it this year.
I force fed my kid pixar. He watches pretty much every pixar movie. If it’s not pixar it’s blippi. Thankfully its like 70/30 pixar/blippi.
We’ve been going through Pixar, Star Wars, etc since COVID. It’s been pretty fun to spend that time with him when his stuff got canceled for COVID.
Definitely. My son dressed up as Blippi for 2019 Halloween. He could buy the shoes, hat, suspenders and glasses as part of a kit online. It’s only gotten bigger and there are toys at Target we bought for x-mas.
to think we all could have been millionaires if we just went places dressed like an idiot, talk in a high pitched voice and danced around
Daniel Tiger is good. Not that I enjoy it myself but it's great for teaching how to feel and handle feelings.
I fux with Daniel Tiger. Probably cause he rarely watches it but he teaches great stuff. Having a little jingle for literally everything in life gets old though.
somehow weve been able to steer ours away from most of the truly annoying cartoons. outside of the pbs kids shows, theyre really only into paw patrol, peppa and tom & jerry
I think we did Blippi live right before COVID hit. It was somebody other than Blippi playing Blippi. My son didn’t care though.
Sure you've seen if your kid is still watching but he has started having another guy play the character in youtube vids. Probably pays him peanuts compared to what the video pulls in.
Appreciate the feedback as we have a normal stroller right now but I was interested in a jogging one. Gotta love Facebook Marketplace. Found a Bob Revolution priced around $100 which has been sitting in a garage for a year or so that someone needed to get rid of.
Seems like new episodes of bluey popped up. Has been highly enjoyable with our children’s tv time this week. Bluey is so awesome.
