Great success! Also, officially on the list for the Daytona Panda... my guess is it’s November 2022, before it’s available
This arrived today. The dealer only had it on leather which was way too chunky so switched to the nato. Have the steel bracelet on the way in the next couple of weeks.
My blue came on the comfort leather strap. I am also headed to pick up my NATO strap tomorrow and make the swap.
Yeah, it was too clunky and honestly didn't really love the clasp/buckle system on it either. I'll hold onto it if I ever want to throw it back on, but IMO its too much strap for the 39mm size. It just looked off and unbalanced on my wrist.
BB58? Whatcha want for the strap & clasp? I've been trying to acquire for awhile edit: I technically just want the deployment clasp, as I feel the same about the leather strap, but will gladly take them both
If anyone wants a cheap ass Seiko go to Macys.com for their Memorial Day sale. Download the Honey extension and save even more ($53 on the King Samurai I have). https://www.macys.com/shop/featured/seiko
I’d definitely wear this for $200, though I’m an admitted Seiko fan. I’ve made the “no more cheap watches” promise to myself though. https://www.macys.com/shop/product/...-40mm?ID=11437111&CategoryID=23930&isDlp=true
That's funny because I've bought 3 cheap watches in the last few months. I think it's ok though because I really like them and wear them regularly. One is on the way from....Ali Express
Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 available for presale on Hodinkee for $650 https://shop.hodinkee.com/collectio...wermatic-80-black-dial?variant=39357979656267
Rooting for you to get the Pepsi from an AD. I’ve been waiting for 9 months for an Oyster Perpetual. Steve Hallock of Tick Tocking is my favorite. He has incredible videos of the best independent watches.
I've been watching restoration videos for 2 days. Obviously I knew watches had a bunch of parts but man watching these videos is usually cool seeing all of them come apart and go back together.
Turned on an old phone and browsed the pics. Back when you could try watches on in the store and they’d offer you a discount.
That FP Journe is awesome. I'd never heard if them until a video earlier this week. They said they only make 800 pieces a year?
Someone might. Setting aside that it is a Tag & my general disdain for the brand... The date window is so bad, I can't look away & almost don't notice the other atrocities
What are the threads thoughts on Longines? I’m debating running to the AD tomorrow and grabbing this beaut: https://www.watchesofswitzerland.co...th-Moon-Phase-Mens-Watch-L26734783/p/17350312
Love the watch. Solid brand with tons of history. Tops lots of best-buy lists, in the $2-5k category. Omega : Longines :: Rolex : Tudor
Love it, I have this Master Collection and it’s a great watch. The rotor is a bit loud on the wrist, but otherwise it’s been a fantastic piece. For that price point, it’s great value.
I fucking love this watch guys. Put it on this: https://www.strapcode.com/collections/seiko-samurai-watch-bands/products/metal-ss-bcl20-b066
I have problems... I hadn't looked at their catalogue in awhile. Just noticed their Legend Bronze Diver & now I want Spoiler
I got it a few months ago, and put it on the nato immediately. It's a great watch that gets brought out a couple of times a week.
