Gas station by my house (circle k) has a new brunch burger. Burger with bacon egg and cheddar on it. Going to give it a try soon.
hope you are a mustard boi *i like their burgers. good not great but always way too much mustard also secret menus are dumb af
something tells me the idea of adding an egg to a cheddar cheese burger occurred to people in other locations
i have never ordered off their “secret menu” bc that’s stupid. Maybe animal style is awesome I’ll never know, if it’s great put it on the fucking menu not too many options iirc. Again I’m a fan but too much mustard. I like it, but not overpowering mustard
Their fries are kinda terrible. If you get them, ask for well done. Also, if you like a bit of spice, add chilies to the double double. They put chopped green chilies on it.
Pretty much all regional burger chains are overrated and hyped up. I think shake shack is super overrated. Same with whataburger. It is what it is.
Animal style is gross. Just get a plain double double. Do you want to know what the burger tastes like or the condiments?
I’d say in-n-out is overrated but still a pretty good meal. When I visited my grandparents last month in Colorado Springs we got in super late and that’s all that was open. Line was kind of long but not bad. Even when it was still a little cold it was good. I tried to go back twice both twice a the line was around the fucking block.
I like whataburger. Only eat it a couple times a year but it's very good for a fast food burger. Nothing life changing though.
My wife will send me 2 minutes to the McDonalds by our house every once in a while to get her a fountain Coke and some fries. Sometimes I’ll snag a dbl qtr lber w cheese and I’ll be damned if it doesn’t hit the spot. Disclaimer: I am not saying it’s the best. It is not.
Shake shack and Culver’s ftw in n out fries are trash, unfortunately. Quality burg but the fry situation will send me elsewhere if I have options
Shake Shack’s fries are the same shit you’d get out of a bag of frozen crinkle cuts at the grocery store. Awful. I like In-N-Out a lot (even their fries, which I know is a minority view), but I wouldn’t wait in one of those crazy ass lines that pop up whenever a regional chain expands to a new city.
Fresh cut fries are fine. They small, thin cut compared to most places. Had In n Out got the first time in a year on Saturday and had a cheeseburger with whole grilled onion and chopped chiles. Was pretty solid.
Be warned: their fries are notgreatbob.GIF That said, you can get them animal style too edit - okay it’s been addressed... btw fun fact, the “dicing” of green chiles was aktchewly invented in my hometown of Dicingberg, NJ. Just felt like pointing out that neat fact.
It’s pretty unreal how awful their fries are. Like not even comparable to any other fast food product I’ve ever had before. Disgusting
Had a burger from Freddy's just now. Was very steak and shake like but prepared a bit better. 7.5/10.
I had steak and shake a couple years back after probably going a good 10y without eating it... I don't know if it was always that bad, or if I was always shitfaced when I ate it in college.
Not much worse than cold steak and shake. A hot greasy 7x7 is one of the best fast food burgers you can get though.
Also, after learning about Five Guys Burger and Fries story and that they were inspired by this American staple, I'll always be a supporter:
I'm confused. They only cook the patties with mustard if you order animal style. A regular Double-Double just has spread (basically 1000 island).
I'm probably misremembering sorry for partying Haven't had it in years, just remembered too much sauce
Don't like smashburgers much therefore I don't fw Freddy's burgers. Srs Runza has one of the best fast food burgers in the game if you're ever around one. The meat twinkie got Runza regional famous but their burgers are legit.
In n out gets overhyped but for its price and quality it is top notch, also the fries are fine and I will die on that hill. Rather have them then whatever Wendys is doing currently.
You have to eat the fries at the store, they are pretty good for 5 seconds and then quickly start to get bad.
