So the second round was a letdown, though we did get some fun games. I am not optimistic about the next round, either. I think the Isles will make life hard for Tampa, but if the refs call it even a little like the regular season, I don’t see how the Islanders can win a battle of special teams. I am not sure how Montreal beats Vegas. It’s going to take Price being God and Flower being awful, which is possible but not likely. I just don’t like the matchups for Montreal. Vegas can get the Stone line out there against Suzuki and just erase that line entirely, while still dominating offensive possession.

i agree, Vegas plays a smart game. I think Colorado would’ve been a better matchup for mtl. Colorado is top heavy and their d is small.
I remember during Panarin watch he would keep tweeting non-stop that Colorado was the favorite to sign him and that they had been having secret meetings with panarin to pitch him on colorado. Literally no other source in the NHL had it but he continued to shout into the universe that it was true. Those secret meetings ended up being a single layover meeting at the Denver airport with Panarin's agent. Panarin wasn't even present. LMAO
