There, Florida, Nashville, Dallas, and AZ are probably the best fits possible for him. Small markets with even smaller hockey media coverage that are a piece or two away from real contention. Though IMO Carolina is the perfect spot for him.
Yeah I think Hamilton is crazy for leaving Carolina, but Carolina is crazier for not likely paying him his worth.
Great front office, but I don’t believe the owner is willing to spend. We will see what happens, but they can definitely fit a big deal for Hamilton into their salary structure. I just don’t think he will let them. I am basing this on them possibly losing RBA because they don’t believe in spending on staff of course, so maybe I’ll be proven wrong
I’d rather Dallas spend their $ on someone like Hall Anyways Toronto fans have already convinced themselves they can sign Hamilton sorry guys
I don’t see Hall leaving Boston. My guess is he signs a team friendly deal to get stability in a place he wants to be.
This is my guess as well. Not that Hall is the youngest guy out there, but he definitely added quite a bit to that 2nd line.
lol Even if that was true, it doesn’t mean that they are one or two pieces away. Arizona is two full lines and a pair of defense away. 2 out of 4 did not make the playoffs and the other two did not get past the first round. That’s not one or two pieces away. maybe what he means is 1-2 pieces away from making the playoffs.
I mean just a few years ago Calgary media was shitting on the guy for going to a museum on his off day instead of hanging with the boys at a beach bar. AZ was probably the biggest stretch, but they've got enough young pieces that some growth and Hamiltion should put them firmly in the playoffs.
Gotcha, I think Dallas and Nashville are on the downside big time. Florida is the only one that is close
you’re so stupid sometimes Carolina and florida both played tampa, but they were great during the regular season. Both are quite literally one or two pieces from competing for the cup. Nashville did make the playoffs. Dallas is one year removed from the scf and missed seguin, radulov, and bishop all year
the stars played like shit this year but they played the entire year without 3 of their most important players
Think the stars contention next year depends on how bishop plays Pre injury he was playing as good as he ever has. I love oettinger just don’t think he’s ready to be the guy yet. Khudobin sucks and I hope Seattle takes him
I don’t think you realize what type of people live about 2 hours north of Toronto. Trailer park boys Is a very good resemblance of that. this would be equivalent of Alabama declaring Auburn the team of the state. Those few trashy bama fans would not take it well
Yeah I've always felt much better about road games than home games with this group. I don't think it's necessarily they're flat, feels like they play more tight and try to be too perfect at times at home. On the road they usually stick to their structure better. Yesterday they had a pretty good start in the first ten minutes and were just off after that, passes weren't crisp and didn't generate many dangerous chances in the Isles end. They usually respond pretty well after dropping a home game to start the series so hopefully that's the case tomorrow.
No wonder the Knights are having so much success in the playoffs. Swallowed whistle hockey is made for that team.
you did not watch the game if that is your analysis. vegas found their legs after mtl dominated the first 10 min but they are hardly outclassing mtl. Which surprises me a little.
