No questions outside of your Primo table looking like you put it in a 30 day downpour and allowed it to dry so you could get the cool, artsy, warped package that looks like you are going from a 3 foot to a 9 foot pool incline.
So disappointed with that table. I even sealed it twice right when I got it. It was a Primo table. It is garbage. Picking up a NSF Stainless lowboy equipment table to put the Primo on along with the tabletop Blackstone. Will have plenty of storage underneath which my dogs will love. Ain’t nothing they like better than licking grill accessories, even after I clean them.
My deck looks the same. It was on the calendar to fix until our furnace decided to take a shit 3 weeks ago.
Man I gotta say my pizza oven is awesome but it definitely took some practice. Don’t let your pizza sit on the peel for more than a few minutes. That flour dries up and that sucker won’t move.
How mad is a.tramp going to be when I send him my Rib entry and it’s a very simple recipe of a blend of four different Meat Church rubs? I mean he has to have those exact spices laying around somewhere in the pantry right?
Acorn pizza a few weeks ago. Like to make my own dough but this was lazy, Trader Joe’s. Not the best work, but the people we had over loved it so ...
I want to say the crust is as crooked as my table but truth is, I would go in raw on that multiple times.
I got the fire going, so I can 100% blame this on my wife (she hates cooking but is 100% better at cooking and most of her pizza’s look round which is NOT the case with me lol)
Turned out pretty decent. Ran out of charcoal twice due to both the bags of royal oak I had being all tiny broken pieces and dust. Never buying that crap again.
Any recommendations (besides thermoworks, bc I will probably just order it from them) for a four probe temp setup with alarm? Going to be cooking 4 whole chickens later this summer while camping with family and don’t want to let any of them get over cooked.
Collect your drippings and add to a saucepan with: 1 cup cider vinegar 3 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons salt 1 teaspoon cayenne 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Stir and simmer just until sugar is melted. Pour it over your pulled pork. https://www.thespruceeats.com/pulled-pork-finishing-sauce-335774 :saltbae:
Not coming at you but I think this is a huge crock of shit in that it’s totally cosmetic. What do you like about yours and tell me why I should waste some money.
Carne asada night. Also did elotes but didn’t get a finished picture, unfortunately. Also pictures was a blackberry pomegranate margarita
Cast Iron grates hold heat so much better than the stock grates, you get a much better seer as a result
If you're looking to upgrade your grates... can't recommend this product more. I believe these outperform traditional cast iron grates (especially in terms of preventing flare ups). https://www.grillgrate.com/kamado-grills/
First time using the recteq for a long cook, and this is cheating. I love it though. It was awesome being able to start it up while I was still laying in bed.
Went back and found when I bought my Guru but couldn't quote it bc the thread was locked. 9 years later it was time for for upgrade. Been meaning to do it for at least a year bc mine was starting to show issues. The fan port on the head unit had a short and wouldn't always make the fan blow when it was blinking and telling it to. Still worked, was just worried about it crapping out during a long cook or while I'm away. So wife picked this up for me.
Yep They have to be from females cause they are a bit on the small side I can't seem to find tom legs consistently I did find some turkey wings from a tom recently and they were damn near as big as these legs are
I had that same problem but instead getting a new one I went with the Smobot instead and I’m so glad I did.
I’ve joined the club. Will be in here asking for ideas and tips more often. Didn’t go Primo but was able to get the Kamado Joe Classic I price matched for $650 at Lowes. Thanks for the advice a.tramp
I have the dyna q. Works really well. It would be cool if you could check it when you're away from home.
threw every creature the ocean has to offer onto my kettle plancha and boy oh boy ther are veggies tucked under there somewhere
