My daughter being super into it is the only reason I'll keep watching each week. But based on what I've seen so far, I'd rather wait until it's over and then binge.
I think the biggest negative I have about BB is it is kind of the same story line as Mandalorian- child is rescued and then tags along on adventures while sometimes, unknowingly, saving the day. Needs to be a huge payoff at the end and probably even sooner than that as there are a lot more episodes than the Mandalorian
I am assuming we are going to get some Spoiler jedi sooner rather than later. Still not sure who hired Fennec either
Bad Batch Spoiler so the Kaminos hired the bounty hunters but why is Omega so important to them? This show is OK, and I said this before, but just really going to big payoff reveal about her to make it worth while
They are locked in eternal battle offscreen. Ashoka series will probably dive further into the search for the two.
Or completely necessarily if you want to shelf both Ezra and Thrawn, without having to explain where they were during the original and sequel trilogy. It was just kind of lazily done and very unsatisfying.
The space whales broke the windows. Ezra and Thrawn should be dead or sucked out in space. I’m overthinking this.
Who knows how many times Ive said this itt, but the final arc or season 2 is some of the best star wars there is.
It’s Disney so they weren’t going to kill him off but they still had to get him out of the way for the original trilogy. so “Lost in the unknown regions with Thrawn” it is
Ignore it completely going forward, focus on side arcs, distant past, and far future. We don’t need more Skywalker stories at this point.
It's not fixable. The prequel trilogy was awful, but was sort of fixed w The Clone Wars. But - the prequel trilogy was at least a coherent story line from Ep 1 - Ep 3. It was just bad writing and acting. I dont think there's anything salvageable from the sequel trilogy. Maybe you can turn some cool shit out of aspects of it. Do a book or a cartoon about the Knights of Ren. Maybe find a way to make Palpatine's creation of Snoke cool. (Doubtful and I think Id still be annoyed w the whole Palpatine thing, nothign can be cool enough over come it.
i don’t think the prequel trilogy is that bad. certainly not the original trilogy but way better that the sequel trilogy. I enjoy the prequel movies whenever they are on but it could definitely be boosted in my eyes thanks to the clone wars which was great
I was firmly in the "Prequels are steaming piles of shit and Lucas ruined my childhood" camp. Then I read some shit, watched some video essays, that convinced me there are pretty good themes and commentary in them, just sloppily done. Then The Clone Wars explored those themes more deeply and it really changed my POV on the sequels.
in conclusion, the cartoons are the best things Star Wars has done since the OG trilogy. Only rogue one compares.
PM: 90 minutes of Ewok-level decisions AOTC: Yay Bureaucracy! RotS: pretty good, but we have to make this guy bad in two hours and we’ve done very little prep on this soooooo died of a broken heart?
It was all a dream Rey had while meditating with Leia and I won’t be convinced otherwise. Leia eventually corrected her and let her know that Palpatine’s dead and been that way for decades. When Rey is skeptical, Leia reminds her that Sith live in constant fear of being overthrown by their subordinates and therefore would never make strong clones of themselves. Rey realizes how right Leia is and how stupid that would be. She is final over worrying about her parentage as it’s really irrelevant to who she will become. Could be accomplished cheaply in an animated short released on Disney + among a bunch of other Star Wars shorts.
Nothing annoys me more than what they did to Finn's character, I wish Rian had killed him in TLJ just because that would've been a bad ass ending for him and saved the pain of this last shit stain of a movie.
