I got my haircut today and asked the barber why it was so busy. He laughed and made a joke about me being straight and not knowing it was pride weekend. There was more than a dozen gay guys in there waiting to get their hair cuts so they would look good for the parade and festivities tomorrow. the owner was discussing having 5-7 people waiting last night when they closed. One barber goes who cares if it was 5 or 7 people waiting, we got them all taken care of. Then One of the guys waiting goes “oooooo honey. There’s a big difference between 5 and 7 inches” if it wasn’t so cheap($10)/entertaining I’d go to a different barber.
They allowed comments for this one. Today I learned celebrating Juneteenth is a socialism. This is how you get a group of people to not be able to clap in unison. Racist, dipshits.
also very very talented baseball player who might have a 7 figure sign-on bonus in his future, unfortunately.
Burleson elks, about 20 minutes from my house. They are in our district, beat them 56-24. Pretty sure Kitna was their coach last year, not sure if he got shitcanned or not but they were one of my easiest films to break down. Kitna’s son was their QB last year.
Crowd sizes on the Big Red Blitz Tour: The 20-city Big Red Blitz Tour and the lack of crowd sizes definitely raised some eyebrows. Was it because it was a Wednesday afternoon? Did it have to do with poor marketing and promotion? It's hard to say, but it even got Scott Frost's attention in Kearney. “The first time I did something like this was out in Columbus, and I think there were about 4,000 people there,” Frost said. “This tells me I better start winning. I’m starting to feel like the Charlie Daniels Band. He used to be really big, and now he plays at county fairs.” A crowd of about 60 watched Frost in Kearney. The largest reported crowd on the tour was 125 in North Platte. Some stops drew crowds fewer than 20 people. You can speculate a lot of reasons why, but the bottom line is that tour put in perspective how big this season is. Nebraska needs to win. They have to keep the fan base engaged.
My first reaction when I saw that photo, ‘please let this kid be good so we can have somebody that Wisconsin fans just freaking loathe as much as we hate every single one of their players.’’
I watched this live and didn’t even realize it was wrong. LOL The blonde next to him couldn’t be bothered by the CWS game happening in front of her, or the TV camera in her face to stop staring at her phone.
I am fucking terrible at filing and organization. And I am absolutely horrific at operating a three hole punch. I'm forever overstocking inevitably leaving half moon holes and the binder being fucked and my time wasted. I try to go paperless when I can but I have certain frickin binders I need to keep up for maintenance quotes and Board minutes and shit. God I just hate it.
I'm just a turd out there with anything paper related. I can't turn a single page for shit. I get two of em bastards sandwiched together and I can't pick em apart to save my life. I also don't get how some people can so perfectly tear a page out of a notebook either. Evertim I try I just tear that cr*d right in half.
if I get a letter printed on our letterhead on the first try I just take the rest of the day off because I’ve peaked already at that point.
I am not a Nebraska fan. I have never been to Nebraska. I follow Dean on Twitter because stuff like this kills me:
You guys, with great power comes great responsibility. He's using it for the public good. I'm sure someone had summoned him with the Dean signal thanks,
