I apologize to Clint Capela. I didn't think he was capable of putting a team on his back in the fourth quarter to deliver a win in the Conference Finals
That's the benefit of having multiple superstars on your roster. They can hurt you in so many ways. Pick your poison.
I’m trying to predict responses. Do people think Trae is getting lucky in the playoffs and that this isn’t who he actually is?
Ask poor paul he tried to say Huerter is a better player after game 7 when the Sixers threw everything at Trae to try and stop him and let Seth Curry guard Huerter.
some of the takes in here just a few weeks ago are so fucking bad. I was amazed at how hard some of these idiots kept doubling down.
I can't understand the nba thread losing their shit over suns/booker but watching trae and Collins and being miserable as fuck. Few guys in there broke out of the hive mind so good for them.
His foul hunting fucking sucks. His whining sucks (though he’s no worse than 50% of the nba). I get why people don’t like him. But denying that he’s a really good player is silly. Also, anybody who throws an alley oop off the backboard in a conference final and shoots from half court on the reg is must see TV.
This is fair..I think the foul hunting and whining is just the system the league has established/allowed. They weren't calling them last night and he didn't really play that style.
Fair enough. I think Lebron, Harden etc set the standard of how you treat refs. It's pretty shitty overall but it obviously helps you get calls. It's up to the NBA to clean that up.
Kobe was doing it before them. We'll need a better NBA historian to take over but superstars working refs goes back before Lebron
Find me a player that knows the rule book better than Trae. I'm glad he exploits the rules the NBA set out for him. They will take away his "foul hunting" and him and his dad are probably 4 steps ahead of the league in finding ways to get an edge.
This was wild, but I think legitimately the best angle to take for that lob the balls on that dude to gratuitously shimmy before hitting an open 3 though, my goodness
I just read the last 6 pages of this thread and I gotta say it was quite entertaining. I guess in a way you gotta tip your hat to anyone willing to go down with their ship.
